Elmofongo: No offense but that website looks sketchy as fuck.
It hasn't really changed in the last few years. One of the major reasons there hasn't been updates to Zy-El was that the 330-something million recipes for the horadric cube were filled, meaning he couldn't add more.

Kinda sad i haven't seen an update in years but, I've downloaded my mod from there and it was fine. Keep in mind i played it when i didn't have internet, when i was in the army back in 2007 with v3.9 i think.

Elmofongo: If only Diablo 2 made paladins more balanced and better with Melee combat than it is perfect.
Who needs Paladin and his *shiny* armor?
Real men play Barbarian style.

ps. I always choose Amazon. :P

Real men play *with* Amazons. There, corrected...

KingofGnG: Sacrilege! Also: what a load of shit. Diablo II is just perfect, there is no need to "recreate" anything - just get a damn CRT so you can play the game the way it's meant to be played....

I hate to resort to the hammerdin build and the zealot build is too weak.
Some builds are weak in PvP, that's just the way it is.
If you really love Melee, you should play another class.
Barbarian for example, would be pointless if Paladin were better at close combat, IMO.

The mod looks pretty good, but I don't really care about the improved graphics.
I won't buy Starcraft II just for that.

Isn't starcraft 2 all drm riddled? If so it doesn't matter how good the mod is. To note, there already exists a mod for titan quest, for Diablo 2. You can get that and play it offline.
This looks sweet. How do I gain access to the Arcade? I own SC2 and it's first ex-pac, I haven't bought the second expansion as I only played the core game less than 3 hours.

Bethesda as i recall released horse armor because it was awesome...

Oh yeah, it bombed...
That looks cool, I didn't even know SC2 is moddable. Hope he will be able to finish it and deliver successfully the full version soon.

Apparently they put the entire original SC1 game using the SC2 engine (which you can play for free using the free download to use the arcade), WC3, and did a ton of other things using it too. So it's fairly decent, although it's probably very complex too.

You just need the starter edition which free.

Oh, cool!
Maybe I'll get this, then, when it is released.
I won't enter the hype train yet, because there's many things the devs can do wrong in this mod.
Improving a game which is already so good, is no easy task.
Good luck to them.

Mind you I am basing this on an assumption because another mod, which is basically a Remake of Warcraft 3, requires only the Starter Edition aswell.

I can't remember which DLC it was, called something like the bling package... (searching steam hasn't come up with the results) where you had diamond studded armor all over and diamond guns or something...

Hmmm.. The only *bling bling* set of armor that comes to my mind, is the Imperial Dragon Armor (beware: spoilers) but it is available in-game without the need of any DLC. Maybe it was some unofficial add-on by the way?
