Hi there is there an easy way to get gog games to work with the dosbox front end known as D-fend reloaded.

Drag and drop game files (after you install gog games.)

Just add them through the wizard. If the game isn't already in the database, you can get the general settings either from dosbox' own forum, or ask on the internet if someone has the config file ;-)

Wish DBGL had something like that. Some GoG games are rather hard to configure in dosbox. Looking at you, Might and Magic World of Xeen!

The problem is that some games require CD usage.

You can mount the CD or image of it through DosBox.

I did that with Warcraft 2 and Witchaven 2. In fact, all my really old games goes into D-Fend Reloaded. (on windows that is)

EDIT: Either that or use a crack to remove the cd check.

I'm not on my win pc right now, but it's Dosbox that handles that. Not D-Fend.

EDIT: You just have to read http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/MOUNT and test it out :-D

Real fun starts when you have to mount CD image and audio tracks. God forbid multiple CD images.

I'm trying to learn to to easily migrate my gog dos games to d-fend without going through a lot of trouble to make it work.

Did you forget about amrit's post on that?!?

How do I transfer the gog mounting and setting into d-fend?
I'm hopping to import settings rather then create new ones.

You are trying it for which game?

Have you tried:

File -> Import -> Import conf file.

Or just make a new entry and copy over the text in the conf file manually. Right click the new entry -> edit -> Press "tools" - "View dosbox conf file"
