Why just ISIS? Why not kill all Muslims in general. So sick of the lie that there's such thing as "moderate" Muslims, in reality they're all Islamists and (wannabe or actual) jihadists who want to establish theocracies, they just lie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiya) in order to lull non-Muslims into a false sense of security. In reality they all dream of beheading "infidels".

Russia has the right idea, they're all terrorists, carpet bomb them all.

Good idea.I agree:)
This is gonna be Hatred 2.0. Shitty game that gets forgotten in a few months but thanks to the political shitstorm it gets it's spotlight for a few months more.

rampancy: However, while I admit it actually looks quite nice, an entire game with nothing but turret sections? A harkening back to Beach Head 2000? Let's hope the game will be better gameplay-wise than Rambo: The Video Game, or Desert Gunner. I feel like the only "controversy" will be the developers' use of an arguably antiquated gameplay system.
There are actually great ways to do turret sections. Sorta wrote about it earlier but Toy Soldiers is one such example. In the game there are various blank emplacements on the map where you can build an array of defenses. Enemy waves rush at your headquarters and you can man any gun you've placed to assume direct control. There are differing enemy types so there is a high degree of strategy, in terms to the genre, where you'll be swapping between mortars, indirect artillery, machine guns, rocket teams, and other weapon types using hotkeys, as the game becomes more intense it really becomes entertaining to quick swap and anticipate enemy waves. Additionally on some maps the emplacements are held by enemies so you're required to take control airborne vehicles, tanks, ranged sniper teams, or elite commandos to take them out, you can also use these vehicles to take out enemy waves.

The tower defense genre can be very very VERY boring, tedious and monotonous yet there are ways to build upon the concept to create dynamic gameplay with deeper replayability.

Did I signal hard enough? I want people to know I only consume the freshest media, hippest ideas, and stylish opinions!
"Defending the shores of Europe" with a stationary machine-gun is just creatively bankrupt and not interesting, can't they bring the war to them instead ?

No but you should have a very long conversation with her about her beliefs, specifically about Islamism and what she thinks of atheists or non-Muslims. Also ask questions about the conflict in Syria and what she thinks of Bashar al-Assad, Russia and Iran. Also secretly record the conversation in case any evidence arises which indicates she may support terrorism.

Be careful.

I know right, lololol, it's ridiculous isn't it, there's no danger from Muslims, it's not like they might burst through your door and murder you.
He's right guys. Those grannies are a menace.

Seriously, this is the same guy who thinks Mussolini was a fine fellow, and Africa really needs a proper white dictator to whip the africans into shape. What the hell do you expect from that asshole?

I think you're overlooking the serendipitous nature of it, most people need higher standards and structure to their lives by, often times they sway towards an idea of a higher power to live by rather than live a nihilistic life, since at the end of the day all men are imperfect. Islam has a great deal of structure to it and since the end of the second world war the west has adopted a secular mindset that often promotes nihilism, in the sense that life's priority should be happiness. This secular nihilism often creates a society that favors fashion and consumerism over traditions, which creates some to yearn for 'something else'. Some people turn to religion and as it stands Islam is a hard counter against the modern western culture, it's currently the 'in' counter-culture. People who turn to the faith for the reason of structure probably aren't 110% devoted to the fundamental traditionalist views of it, they're probably just (as I said) serendipitous with having a new purpose to live by. It's not like theres a 100% chance of radicalization, but at the same time we can't deny that it is a counter-culture that openly dislikes a great deal of western beliefs.

I've had this talk before oddly enough with a steam friend from Libya.

And since everyone keeps including their identities, I'm a Christian
