I yearn for these games so much! you can find Desert and Jungle Strike via freeware sites and run them fine with Dosbox
but they are choppy as hell. lol choppy...
Nuclear Strike is a different story all together you simply can't run it via Win10 and no emulator to run it since it's old Windows game.
Not the Strike you're yearning for, but maybe the next best thing?:

The dev wasn't averse to a GoG release either, I believe.

Nuclear Strike existed on the N64 and the PS1, so you probably may try make it run on these systems through emulation. Probably the easiest solution.

(the same for desert strike and jungle strike, but on older consoles)

You could most likely run it on a virtual machine. I remember desert and jungle, good games. The other I don’t. What doesn’t run, is it a 16bit installer? If you can get the files, it should work, might need a wrapper or two to get working. May have a look if i get some time.

I'd go for the Amiga emulation.

I have Nuclear Strike (PC version) running on Windows 10 x64 with the help of dgVoodoo 2, though sometimes the game crashes once in a while.

For the DOS games make sure you run them with enough cycles (Alt+F12).

By the way the consoles also got Urban Strike and Soviet Strike.

Thanks so much for your replies and help, GOG truly has a great community.
I'll try to search for a guide how to run Nuclear strike on Win10 using dgVoodoo

I tried what you wrote
Nglide installed just fine but the patch just pop an error msg saying the old exe file he tries to patch is not the correct file.
Tried to run the game anyway the only thing the Nglide did the 3dfx splash screen then the game crashed instantly.

Is there a chance we'll see "Megacopter: Blades of the Goddess" on GOG?

Like mentioned, I believe the dev wasn't against a DRM-free release, so there'd be a chance, yes.
Once it's done, of course.

Feel free to pester/remind the dev again:

Voting can't hurt either:

I still have the old Strike series on my old MegaDrive. Great games :)

Did you ever try "Future Cop: L.A.P.D."? It had a similar feel but you played a Police mech that could switch between a Walker and a Hovercraft.

It's worth looking up if you don't know it.

Too Arcady and fictional for my taste but I'll probably buy it anyway..
