Isn't it Sega publishing? Just because of that it makes me doubtful.

SEGA is the IP owner. The day anything from SEGA comes to GOG is the day i'm going to be up everyone's rear ends in the VF community to push for that here, too.

Sega did release some of their Genesis games DRM-free on DotEmu.

They're DRM free on Steam too. Just extract the ROMs and play in any other Emulator. https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Sega_Genesis_%26_Mega_Drive_Classics#Run_in_other_emulators
Only SEGA's bundled emulator contains Steam DRM.
