GOG.com: DEMO: Rail Route
Ooh, this is definitely something for my son.
Is there a way to turn off the controller for the game? I didn't see an option listed.

By controller you mean the dispatcher?

I haven't really looked further into it, but I assume the demo is basically only (?) the tutorial.
And the dispatcher provides the tutorial, so...turning him off wouldn't make much sense, for someone who has yet to learn the ins and outs of "rail-routing".

Maybe he will be gone, after you finished Prague?
Can other levels even be chosen?

I tried to choose an other level, and the game replied: "something's gone wrong with loading" (or something like that).

I meant the Xbox controller. It looks like the game keeps using vibration on the controller, but there's no way to turn this off.

Ah.
Yeah, well...in such cases, I simply unplug my controller. It's the easiest and quickest way to deal with that issue.
Oh, hm.
I know it's meant to be invoking the look of actual rail traffic management systems but uh...

I was hoping for something more visual? If Max Remington & Michael Haire managed to make colorful graphics for Railroad Tycoon, I can imagine someone else putting out visually impressive graphics in 4-256 colors today too.
Looks neat. Not my cup of tea, but seems legit interesting. Plus if you have the bandwidth, demo stuff is nice :)
My kupuna told me about an AH boardgame he played back in the day called Dispatcher. Needless to say, he also had an electric Lionel train set, with a locomotive that had a smokestack emitting same. All aboard!((--;))
