Hey guys, another delisting information, unfortunately.

Due to reasons beyond our control, Plane Mechanic Simulator (https://www.gog.com/game/plane_mechanic_simulator) won't receive any further updates and will be instead delisted from our store.

The game will be removed from the store on June 6th, 1 PM UTC.

Anyone who purchased it and isn't satisfied with the title can contact our Support and expect a full refund for it.
Oh no, not again...
One each day now.
This is another delisting where this is literally the first time I've heard of the title.

Edit: Oh no, not again.

To be honest, this was one of the titles in my Early Access collection (13 titles left) that I expected this from.

And while we're clearing things out: I don't think "The Mansion" will ever be finished. And I'm starting to have doubts about UBOAT.

Regardless of this delisting, I've decided not to buy any more Early Access games. I'd rather wait until the titles are finished and then I don't have to be annoyed if they aren't or if it takes too long.

You can pin the thread for better visibility until it gets delisted.
I'm pretty sure, I've read quite some comments in regard to this title, where people said, it wouldn't get updated anymore (at least here on GOG), and that it would better be delisted, instead of selling it to more (probably unaware of the above fact) customers.

And going by gogdb, those claims seem to be correct (attachment).

So: wish fulfilled, I guess?

A wise decision, if I may say so.

GOG should take these clowns to court, but of course they won't ... would set a precedent to turn others away.

And they certainly shouldn't be rewarded by buying on Steam, new dev/owner or not.

Just one of the many who won't stand by a commitment, and abuse us and GOG.

It is one thing to remove a game, that is bad enough. Even worse to not provide updates, that are available elsewhere.

I really should avoid Early Access purchases.
Glad that this trap is finally gone. This game has been included in several sales over the years without official warning that is has been abandoned. Although, as BreOl72 said, (almost) always someone stepped in with the important facts.

So - throw good money after bad money (or rather: after money that never got made)?
That would be a bad business decision.

Oh yes, you should.

Good to see; that's how it should be done with abandoned or incomplete titles. (I know that it's because it's EA, but just saying that it should also apply in general, people buying a title with a reasonable expectation to benefit from updates and possible additions going forward that are or become available elsewhere.)
I just really hope that the refund money actually comes from the dev/pub responsible for the mess and not from GOG footing the bill and still not enforcing maintenance clauses in contracts.

(The forum software ate my reply. Trying again...)

I can't believe I'm saying this but: Finally! and Thank you!
This title was a thorn in GOG's flesh. An for buyers, a cautionary tale of what can go wrong with Early Access.

I have heard this sometime before...
Unfortunately I know this one. I actually fell for it. I got it for a good discount but soon after noticed it was still overpriced...

Will you try to refund it? Or just bite the bullet and keep it?

I don't think so, but I might.
It is just shorter than expected, cheap and I already played it.

While this was a simulator, this is a usual standard for adventure games these days, sadly.

I guess will just never buy early access titles ever again (and avoid adventure games).

If GOG's gonna start taking names, shouldn't Pixel Piracy be at the top of their boot list? Or Forager, for that matter? Neither have the EA/Indev "label" but both are virtually incomplete and abandoned by their developers.
