Are they DRM-free? (In particualar, do they lack any of the DRM restrictions (like printing and copy/paste) that can be imposed on PDF files?

Also, does this version have different strength limits for males and females?

Great news! I would not be surprised if the supplements were released sometime soon, they were available previously on Drive Thru RPG before Hasbro/WotC yanked all their PDFs back in 2009.

It's the original rules, so although it refers to "men" a lot (such as the title of the book being "Men & Magic" and the name of one character class being "Fighting-Men"), and it uses the words "he", "him", and "himself" when using player character examples, they are essentially being used in a gender-neutral way and there are no specific rules differentiating player characters based on gender.

I've always wanted to give tabletop RPG's a try, but none of my friends have ever been interested. I picked up a collection of Pathfinder books a few years back, and while I love to read them I've never actually been able to use them to play a game (for those unfamiliar with it, Pathfinder is to Dungeons & Dragons as Pepsi is to Coke).

No matter what it is you have to bring it up. You could be talking about a hurricane and possibly bring up whether it's damn name is male or female.

That's not true. I only bring it up because 1st edition AD&D had lower limits for female strength, but no later edition did, so asking about older editions is reasonable.

Also, it is worth noting that rules like that do tend to put off female players from the game. (I believe this rule was actually commonly rule zeroed away by DMs for this reason and other reasons.)

Supplement I is available now. I don't think it would be unreasonable to expect the rest of the supplements eventually.

Here's a question that I just thought up: Are there any TRPGs where the rules favor female characters?

I can think of a few CRPGs that do that: Dragon Quest 3 and Wizardry 8 both have nice female only equipment, but lack similarly nice male only equipment.
