Potzato: I did like the dow2 campaigns, I did like the dow1 campaigns in equal measures ..... I'd like something different again.
Regarding the video, it looks even more dynamic than the second opus which is impressive.
I am really curious about the multiplayer aspect : DOW2 was excellent in that regard, despite having an extremely high learning curve (best played in team of friends also).
sherringon456: Indeed, although it lacks in factions (Although they are all unique which is a plus.), it is a fine game and had a relatively smooth launch (I heard about the problems on launch day but luckily didn't experience them myself.). I am very looking forward to the DLC.
Potzato: I stil feel the burns of Rome2 : broken at launch, and, in my opinion, still unappealing after a year and a half of patches - so yes, minor problems in Wham:TW are to be expected and are a relief in some way.
Only first played Rome 2 10 months after release. It seemed ok then but I know it was broken when it came out and they promised too much before release apparently to so for some people (Including you by the sounds of it.) it still disappoints after 2 years of patches (It's last patch was September last year.).
UnrealQuakie: I think they are taking the route they had with the last game, And a little thing I hate is when they advertise this AAA title with a 15 to 20 fps video on youtube. man the lag was horrible :(
It's pre-alpha and it showed. They still have plenty of time to optimise it before release. Although, to compare it to Total War: Warhammer at this stage, Warhammer's E3 video didn't lag this badly.
Elmofongo: And we are still following Gabriel and the Blood Angels?
It is the Blood Ravens, a chapter specifically created for the first Dawn of War. I can see why you think it is the blood angels, their symbols are similar and their colours are both red. The main difference is that the Ravens don't have red shoulder pads.
