Well, this week is a bummer. So I guess that means either Black Friday or the Winter sale will carry Dawn of War. If not, then it's all a lie.
If Dawn Of War doesn't get released for Black Friday or the Winter Sale, I'll turn my back on the fake Emperor and embrace Chaos. I'll go with Slaneesh.

Count me for Nurgle.
Any update on Dawn of War?

It's still a good game.
It's still a couple of hours until dawn.
Dawn of War is my OBLIVION!!!11!!!1
For the record the retail version works fine on newer hardware. You just can't play DOW/Winter Assault at 1080p or higher resolution. The fan made patch to allow this only works with the steam version. :( DC and SS support higher resolution.

I'm actually playing the retail version right now.

Lucian_Galca: Not with this painfully slow drip feed of releasing games from said publisher you won't.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Who cares? Since the GOG versions of Dawn of War are going to be gimped and not have Crossplay with Steam, the GOG releases of the Dawn of War games will be completely useless and not worth buying.

If GOG never releases them, it would make no difference.
GoG could make a difference by featering fixes. As I meantioned in my question thread, DoW has a problem with UI Scale on higher resolution. If such an UI scale is build in, I would by it again cause then GoG would make play it again.

Ditto with the GOG version of Space Marine which is also heavily gimped and missing important features that the Steam version has, and which also is therefore not worth buying.

If GOG wants to make lots of money from these games, then they need to be 100% non-gimped and have 100% feature parity and 100% Crossplay with the Steam versions, period. But GOG is doing the opposite of all that.

Also, the same OP also made a nearly identical thread/OP to this one just the other week.
I'm hoping for LAN support.
Is there a release date?

This must be the most expected game on GOG after Skyrim.
