Cadaver747: Somehow they even got themselves Legend Entertainment games from Piko Interactive: Spellcasting, Superhero League of Hoboken, Eric the Unready, Mission Critical (for a 1995 game it was a masterpiece) .
Does it mean there is a hope for Death Gate (reappearance), Companions of Xanth, Wheel of Time and other gems from one of the most underappreciated game developer of all time?
Death Gate was retired in the past due to rights problems, if I am not wrong. Games which are based in book series seem to to have a lot of problems to be sold because of the owner or multiple owners. We can see it with old Dune games, for example.
The old legend entertainment titles left to be in GOG are based basically in series of scifi fantasy books.
Shannara
Death Gate
Companions of Xanth
Wheel of Time
Frederik Pohl´s Gateway series...
Callahan's Crosstime Saloon (1997)
John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles (1998)
All based in series of books.
I have only hopes in Timequest to be available in GOG some day. At least it would be easier to get the rights, who knows.
