So, this is pretty cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLWM6m37lfU

Dangan Ronpa, a fantastic series of visual novels (well, more adventure game than visual novel), is coming to PC. The stories in these games are amazing, and it's one of the weirdest, most disorienting games you'll ever play (in a good way.)

The announcement from Gemetsu: http://gematsu.com/2016/01/danganronpa-trigger-happy-havoc-coming-pc-steam-february

Would be great if they came to GOG, since they're more adventure than visual novel, but we all know how that's going to go.
It is a good time to be a fan of the genre. :)
Good thing I made a wishlist for Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.

Vote for the first one and second one to get released for sale on gog.com.

Come on, put in a little more effort. If you really want people to vote for it, at least provide a link. You know most people are lazy. :P

It looks like Persona so much but there's no battle tower or any combat in this?

None, there are "class trials" a bit like Phoenix Wright for example.

Sorry, they're too "niche" .

Yes yes, I'm muchly interested in this series. Already voted.

I might actually be inclined to log into steam for once and buy zem.
Is this a visual novel (I don't play VN), or it is an investigative games?
I can't understand from the trailer.

Both games are visual novels.

I don't think you can make links at too low rep. Once upon a time the limit either didn't exist, or was at 0, then it was raised to 7 or 8 to limit spammers, now I don't actually know.

Visual Novel, though there are moments that people die and you need to find clues to find out who did it.

It's a murder mystery (with trials similar to Ace Attorney series) in which you are also able to get closer to the people you got locked up in the school of Ultimate Despair.

This is some brilliant news alongside FFIX PC-port announcement, and it's one of my fav VN series next to AA and Zero Escape.

Just as a heads up for everyone: DON'T. LOOK. ANY INFO. ON THE. GAMES!!! It's easy to spoil it. Even Wiki spits out the major plot twist.

Ah, I see. They should probably exclude internal links from that rule, so people can still link to wishlists etc. It's not like spambots generally do that.
I really hope my notebook can run it because I've been interested in this séries for quite a while.
If they would find their way to GOG they would be an instabuy. If not, well my friend owns them. I'm sure he would lend me his Vita sometime.
