As a lifelong Godzilla fan, I’ve unfortunately already bought pretty much every comic so far. Haven’t read them all, but have very much enjoyed what I have read, and have always heard high praise for IDW’s work on the license.
Hmm, posting errors, I apologize in advance if this ends up being a dupe.

Lifelong Godzilla fan here, so unfortunately already own all these bundled comics. What I’ve read have been really good, and I’ve always read high praise for IDW’s work on this franchise.

I'm not a fan of Godzilla. More like interested, but not ready to make any commitment. For someone new to it. Is watching some of the movies a better way to get into it vs the comic series?

Hard for me to put myself into your shoes, given my history.

If I had to guess, I’d think that most adults who didn’t grow up on Godzilla won’t appreciate the films much. The older ones are sort of cheesy, and the newer ones are sorta mediocre so far. I love them all, but that’s partly nostalgia talking.

These newish comics might be a better gateway actually. If you’re already a comic fan and familiar with superhero/fantasy action, IDW has some fun stories.

Maybe try to find some free samples online? Or start with the dollar tier?

James Rolfe aka Cinemassacre did a pretty comprehensive video on the Godzilla film franchise recently on his youtube channel. I grew up in the 80's, and 90's. So I grew up consuming cheese films. The Mario movie anyone? Yea I saw that in theaters! XD Also was a big Highlander fan, but saw a few sequels in the theater with much disappointment.

I know there are some repeats here.

Yes, "Attack on Titan" and Vol. 1-11 of "Attack on Titan: Before the Fall" have been bundled before, also Vol. 1-4 of "Cells at Work!", Vol. 1-10 of "Fire Force" and Book 1 of "Vinland Saga". So (with the exception of "Attack on Titan" where an earlier bundle already included Vol. 1-22) it's a continuation of those series to bring them up to date. That alone would maybe be not so great but with "BLAME!", "Domestic Girlfiend", "The Quintessential Quintuplets" and (essentially, since only Book 1 was included before) "Vinland Saga" there are enough new-to-bundles series to make this bundle worth the money.

I'm not decided on the tier yet, though. Probably it would be wise to pay $15 because of the pretty high probability that "Attack on Titan" and the prequel will be continued in future bundles - but am I wise? ;-)

Oh, one more thing: "BLAME!" seems to be the "Master Editions" which would mean that it's the complete series despite including only six volumes instead of the original ten!
If your not decided on a tier yet. The Art Book included with the 20$ Tier is nothing to write home about. It is 20 pages long, and has cover art trickled through out it. It is really not worth it if you already have the manga in this tier.

Thanks, but the $20 tier was out of question for me anyway. I don't care that much for artbooks, the "BLAME!" movie adaption also doesn't sound like a must-have and the new series with two volumes will probably be bundled more extensively in a future Kodansha bundle.

I'm only undecided betwenn $15 and $18 tier, but will probably go with the $15 tier.
Comixology has an "Image 2019 Eisner Nominee Bundle":
https://www.comixology.eu/Image-2019-Eisner-Nominee-Bundle/bundle/1818

It's not exactly cheap (€35,99/$39,99) but that shouldn't be surprising since the included comics are pretty new (obviously).

- "Bitter Root", Vol. 1
- "Crowded", Vol. 1
- "Gasolina", Vol. 1-2
- "Get Naked"
- "Gideon Falls", Vol. 1-2
- "Isola", Vol. 1
- "Man-Eaters", Vol. 1-2
- "Skyward", Vol. 1-2
- "The Terrible Elisabeth Dumn Against the Devils in Suits"

What I don't like is that the bundle includes the single issues contained in the volumes and the "retail price" of the bundle is calculated including those issues to make it look like a better discount.
Yeah, the pricing gymnastics are a little silly, including all the singles and some duplicating collections, but still well under a buck an issue. So not a great bundle price compared to some, but still a fine digital price; especially considering it’s all high quality stuff. Iirc, I quite enjoyed the issue I read of Gideon Falls, and Man-Eaters is perhaps my favorite book of 2019 so far.

Not sure how many of these were previously bundled
Looks like mostly ebooks and few if any comics.
The Boys & More bundle by Dynamite at Humble Bundle:

Mostly repeats but a good deal for those that missed the earlier bundles.
