eladz: It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but I would have preferred inclusion of works by Clowes, Dash Shaw, Jordan Crane and less repeats from previous bundles.
Andanzas: Clowes is not available in digital. I don't know why, but I guess it must be the author's choice. Chris Ware does not publish in digital either.
I'll check Dash Shaw and Jordan Crane, as I haven't read them. Thanks!
Krazy Kat and Peanuts are solid best-of picks, as are Los Bros. Bagge is a legit contender, ditto Hanselmann -- that guy is a comedic genius.
But...apart from Ware and Clowes, if you really did want a proper best-of Fantagraphics, you'd need some R. Crumb (not just a few pages in one issue of Zap), Jim Woodring, Tony Millionaire, some Tardi, Carl Barks' duck books, Gottfriedson's Mickey Mouse, Prince Valiant, Pogo, Barnaby, Nijigahara Holograph, David. B, Barnaby, Schrauwen, Fletcher Hanks, Josh Simmons, Crepax and Swaarte I guess, probably other folks I'm forgetting...it'd be one expensive but absolutely frickin awesome bundle. Fantagraphics are the greatest.
As it is, this is more like Random Collection of Good Fantagraphics Comics, which is good enough for me. I own well more than half of it but am still gonna get it for the books I don't have.
