Well, this came out of nowhere:

Daemon X Machina - the fast-paced mech game that I coulda sworn was a Switch exclusive - is coming to PC. Only up on Steam for now, naturally, but it's published by XSEED so.... maybe it'll come here?

Seriously, this game is really good and GOG really needs to get it.

I don't know anything about this game other than from browsing its page on the Steam store. But based on that, I doubt it would sell many copies if it came to GOG, because:

1. It has a full AAA price, but I doubt it's actually an AAA game, and hence it's probably not worth anywhere near its very high asking price.

2. Apparently some of its main selling points are Co-op and PVP. Yet if it came to GOG, it most likely wouldn't have Crossplay with Steam, and hence the Co-op and PVP features would be nearly unplayable on the GOG version, which makes the prospect of buying it even less appealing.

I feel like almost everything except Nintendo first-party stuff is a timed exclusive these days, so not super surprising. Looks fun, will definitely check it out.

it was a switch release last year. it's a full AAA game.

We'll never see eye-to-eye on this but I do want to stand up for those who'll buy it just for the single-player. If they want to own it for that, and GOG thinks they can make a profit, I think GOG should still try to bring it. Ideally GOG could even negotiate a lower base price on the game because of the missing features, even if it's just a couple dollars.

That game is armored core-like game. I like it.

And Steam has regional pricing. I can get it for like 10 USD :)

Yes it was a collab dlc... then again soul calibur had it too (in game fighter), and yet, to add insult to the injury, the game is riddled with denuvo too...
