I bought Cyberpunk 2077's code and put it into this site, it had costed me 100$ and it worked. Then after installing the game I pressed play and it simply crashed. I thought that I could fix it and then proceeded to forget about it. I am far past the refund date and this is what I have done.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I presplay, it shows me the popup for 5-10 seconds and proceeds to say there was an error. I then report the problem and see if its an issue that the site can fix as its bringing the error to GO GALAXYs site, usually meaning this is a problem they can fix. When pressing pressing the button that should 'scan and repair files' it would continue to show me 'updating 0%' meaning it wasn't even scanning the files despite it having permission to do so and nothing is keeping it from scanning them and fixing any issues. It simply doesn't work.

I tried submitting for help but instead it brings me to a robot that can't listen and understand my issue that could probably be solved easily and I can't find the know how. If they allowed you to submit an actual report then I am sure my issue would have been sorted now.

Please help me fix this issue as I believe I have done everything on my end to fix whatever loose ends it would've created. It should not be this complicated to play a game.

Have you tried installing the offline-installers?
There's really no need to use Galaxy.

• The chatbot should prompt you for information to create a support ticket, if you repeatedly say the suggestion wasn't helpful.
• You can bypass the chatbot altogether with a user style.
• Supposedly you can also directly e-mail support (at) gog (dot) com.
• In this particular case, you can also contact CD Projekt Red support instead.

where would I got to see these offline installers? Assuming they are not the shortcut or the site.

• Extras tab in GOG Galaxy.
Your library in a web browser. Click a game, then expand the Download offline backup game installers section below the big blue button.

Others already have posted helpful advice.

But why $100?? The game never has been as expensive.

I wondered about that too, but since he's talking about a "code" which he "put into this site", he probably bought some special edition, two years ago.

Now, I really don't remember the prices for the several special and collector's editions, when the game got released, but maybe there was one around for $100,-?

Under your account --> games --> cyberpunk 2077 --> Download Offline Backup Game Installers

That's why I put the attachment under my last comment. Didn't you see it?

This game only works on x64 Windows 10 with a DX12 graphics card, it will not run on anything less.

You need at minimum a GTX 970 or RX 470 for certain graphical features to work or it will not run.

Do you meet these 2 requirements?

The version I have installed will run on 7.

That's good to hear, but there is no guarantee. It's not supported.
One might have to install some customized DX, some runtimes that come with Win11, but not with Win7 or something like that.

In any case the OP will have to add more information for any potential fix or workaround.
Windows version, basic Computer configuration (CPU,RAM,GPU), installation location, maybe the entry in the windows event log at the moment of the crash? That usually gives some info about what happened (for example missing dlls)

I mean, the OP played the game already two years ago, and if we go with the assumption that he hasn't downgraded his system in the meantime...

Yes that jives then the current build of Cyberpunk 2077 will not work, it does not support windows 7. It was patched out a while ago.

It doesn't matter if it did work the current build will not work on windows 7, only windows 10 x64 (or greater) with a DX12 GPU.

Did he though? He has no achieves. He's "Started the game" two years ago. If you start a game and it crashes (as he claims), I'm sure that applies.

System specs would be helpful here, OP.
