I easily have maybe 120+ hours in Cyberpunk but most of it was spent offline and half of it was deleted (I restarted with a new character).

I have been booting up Cyberpunk through Galaxy on random occasions yet today it decided to update my play-time with 50+ hours which it seems to have taken from my most recent save. I'm not neccessarily upset about this, I am just confused as it has never done this before. Why did Galaxy decide to do this just now and how could I do it for my other games also?

The game itself tracks time, and then communicates that information to the Galaxy client.

You can see this number when loading your save file.

I get that, I am just wondering why it has only updated to my account now when I have opened up Cyberpunk through Galaxy many times before. If this is just how it was always supposed to work then I suppose there was something wrong with Galaxy.
Doesn't look like I'll find an answer for this, the same thing doesn't happen for my other games when I'm offline. Not a huge deal anyways, just strange.

Maybe in a broader perspective we would like to see more information from GOG about changes from gog/galaxy/gog games.

100%, this is really the kind of thing only they would know.
