EULAs are for entertainment purposes only.

National laws dictate what you actually can or cannot do with your software copies.

it's more easy to understand if you consider it like a tiny bit of stock
you do not own software you buy a License that grants you a copy of software (of game or data) etc. you get the gist

that License cant be terminated and you within your full rights to do what you wanna do with that single license.
in theory if you not download software and not used it for 20 years they still must grand you the data of that license.
it also cant not expire. (so backup is basic not requested)

old data carriers like DVD carry the license on the disk but now anything is digital, so your license is your key code
if you buy a movie digital then you buy the rights to watch that movie on any form of digital information (Ake 4K or 8K in the future) or whatever the future brings.

with DVD carriers this isn't the cause of course the license is hold on the carrier same go's with games on disks but they cant not be account bound. it's a violation of ownership

it is like they just twist those ownership/licensing rights in ways to favor themselves not the customers

they try that for a long long time now *that's why you see "games as service* the netflix construction
streaming is basic access to and not buying a license

that's why people should not use those services you loss more in the long run.
Anything in it about being turned into a Human Cent-I-Pad? That's what I really fear.

I think that this bit is in there so that they can ban people from cheating in multiplayer (when it arrives) and ruining the experience for everyone else.

It's highly unlikely that you will have your licence revoked for cheating in a single player only instance.
1: The multiplayer part will require Galaxy and be 100% optional... so that makes sense for that.

2: The monitoring is already built into the singleplayer to allow your metrics to get sent back, its a question at install and optional... multiplayer will also have it.

3: The hacking and cheating is again for the multiplayer part coming.
