I'm calling it Cyberpunk 2077 will be a piece of shit because it is a licensed game, it is not Witcher and even that was based on a novel CDPR does not own, therefore what creative freedom or liberties they had with Witcher they do not have with Cyberpunk because they do not own the rights and are therefore making a quick buck with your ego, I suspect CDPR will try to buy the rights to it in order to have complete creative freedom but I'm not buying it.

Yes, until they slap beta on it and make it galaxy online only for several years, just whilst they work on the single player content.
Me I will avoid like the plague, their stance on drm free is dubious at best, and to be quite frank witcher 1 and 2 were pretty bad, not to mention the spin off adventure game and card games being online only.
Still, that won't stop it being the best goty evah to some people and likely winning awards.

The Witcher is based on a licence. CP 2077 is based on a licence. I fail to see how this case is more restricting.
