Breja: I honestly don't know what's with all the "wow". It's not a very impressive trailer. Actually, it's about as generic a "cyberpunk" trailer as we could possibly get. Tells us nothing about... anything really, nothing really happens in it, doesn't set a mood I feel like I want to experience more of or show anything memorable. It's just random images of cyberpunk stuff. I'm not saying the game is going to suck. I'm just saying the trrailer is sort of "meh".
Agreed, +1.
So gameplay wise is it gonna be GTA meets Witcher 3 meets Deus Ex?

It did had a slick and badass music track though.

SCPM: Looks really nice! There's a hidden message at the end, but I couldn't catch it. Anyone know how to move the video 1 frame at a time on Youtube?

wizisi2k: I've used a youtube downloader. I'd suggest MPC:HC and use the right arrow button to advance frame-by-frame
It's an age-restricted video. I've never found any tool that can download age-restricted videos from YouTube yet. The only way I've been able to grab them is to set the video full-screen on a secondary display, and set up OBS to record the video using display capture of the other display, and redirect the audio from the browser tab using the "Audio Picker" plugin for Chrome to a virtual audio channel (Voicemeeter Banana), and then have OBS record the audio from that virtual audio device. It's a bit of a complex solution but works albeit with a small amount of single-generation quality loss.

If anyone knows of another option to first-hand download age-restricted video from YouTube without having to resort to a recording setup like I described above, please share.

Not even that, for me. I forgot the music the moment it stopped playing.
Looks good to me, can't wait.

I haven't tried, but might FRAPS do what you want?

FRAPS is just a video recorder, so all it would do is duplicate what I'm doing with OBS already.

I have to agree with you. The Witcher 3 promos were 10 times better. This? Reminds me cheap Ubi/EA trailers.

SCPM: ...

Okay, here it is:

"It's been over 2077 days...
Now that made me far more excited than I was. I thought it was going to be all multiplayery and whatnot, which often (but not always) waters down games.

The trailer really didn't show much, but I'm sure they're putting some great stuff together. My mind is blown every time I play the Witcher 3. They put some serious thought into every nook and cranny in that game (which will probably take me until at least 2077 release date to beat)

Let's hope that Cyberpunk 2077 isn't a historical fiction game by the time it launches! :-P
I'm sure it will be a fun game but everything about that trailer was as generic as it gets.

Okay, here it is:

"[...]Cyberpunk 2077 is a true single-player, story-driven RPG. [...]
Expect nothing less than you got with the Witcher 3. As for DRM, CP2077 will be 100% DRM-free on PC.

[...]4. Microtransactions?
In a single-player role-playing game? Are you nuts?

Yours,
CD PROJEKT RED Team"
This is music to my ears and poetry to my eyes. thank you thank you THANK YOU!

ShadowOwl: Trailer looked really amazing but the protagonist looked generic as f*ck.
You get to create your own character, maybe that's why? And if my assumptions are right, the trailer has shown 3 different variations of the player character ( 2 males and 1 female wearing literally the same specific jacket might be the hint ).

It seems plenty of people are very hyped for it. I myself prefer main characters that have their personality, background and looks already established, rather than a blank one, so I was a little disappointed about that I guess.

But regardless, I'm jumping on the hype train!
posting hidden text in a trailer was a great idea. Even better - these textx can be entered at gog's redeem code page - the problem is - after you've done fighting with captcha - you see a game you can reddem! - you are in anticipation! but gog doesn't let you claim it - "sorry this code doesn't work anymore" - all I got...
OK let's clarify this, I still love this game, clearly a 10/10 masterpiece and clearly an RPG/FPS based game with many elements and such and that's great, however what I don't agree with is how they did the reveal.

Now let's be honest here, we all know MS had to bargain HARD with CDPR for them to get this first look teaser trailer and that's fine and all, but this is MS we are talking about, it's not really doing too good right now against the PC and certainly not the PS4, less games, less exclusives and less for fans to care about.

My only theory/conclusion is that this is a multi-tiered reveal by CDPR, thus at the PC gaming show will be a main trailer and then at Sony's event it will be an extended main trailer leading into actual gameplay footage that will be playable behind closed doors at the event for invited people only.

As for the launch - well I have a crazy guess on this and you can all call me insane but I think the game is done, ready to go, finished and will go gold around September time in order to gear up for a November launch window, yes you heard me right, I think CP2077 comes home THIS YEAR!

Calling it now, place your bets and +rep me if I am proven right

This is a rare delight, to see someone actually type these words in this order.
