Please don't have a "Robots/Machines are the futurez, Humans/Organics are obsoletez and must die" story like in Terminator, Matrix, and Blade Runner please.

ShadowOwl: Trailer looked really amazing but the protagonist looked generic as f*ck.
Everything about it looks generic to me.
high rated

The game is called Cyberpunk. It's based on the cyberpunk genre by Gibon (Neuromancer) and Dick (Blade Runner, Johnny Mnemonic, and a thousand other really good stories). If you're hoping that Cyberpunk won't be cyberpunk, then you're gonna have a really bad time.
To be honest, the trailer was somewhat generic. The way it was executed was too similar to other game trailers for my taste.

Having said that, I appreciated the decision to have most of the trailer take place in daytime. It brought out the vibrancy and colour of Night City, despite the obvious discrepancy. =P Also, that Knight Rider-style car was cool.

Correction, I just hope it isn't the MAIN PLOT to this game's story.

SCPM: Looks really nice! There's a hidden message at the end, but I couldn't catch it. Anyone know how to move the video 1 frame at a time on Youtube?

InkPanther: https://i.imgur.com/ppcRPKQ.png The best I could find, some lines are cut though. Use period and coma to move one frame at a time.
Got it, edited my post with the whole message. :)

ReynardFox: HOLY. SHIT.
Indeed!

Fuck, I try to never be hyped for games, but now, I'm hyped!! The only time before I was hyped by a game trailer was The Witcher III aaaaand... I wasn't disappointed by the final game. Let's hope it will be the case once again!!

Ah, fair enough.

Well, like the saying goes, bad writers write the setting, good writers write the story. And for sure there was no hint as to what the story will be, in that trailer. CDPR told a good story in Witcher. There's reason to be hopeful.

CelestialBunny: I have just three words for CDPR

YOU SOLD OUT!
How? By doing good business?

CD Projekt Red should really make a fantasy game instead. I don't think they've done that yet?
Looks promising.
I honestly don't know what's with all the "wow". It's not a very impressive trailer. Actually, it's about as generic a "cyberpunk" trailer as we could possibly get. Tells us nothing about... anything really, nothing really happens in it, doesn't set a mood I feel like I want to experience more of or show anything memorable. It's just random images of cyberpunk stuff. I'm not saying the game is going to suck. I'm just saying the trrailer is sort of "meh".

If you really felt like splitting hairs, technically The Witcher is sci-fi, right?

"Meh" is a perfect summary -- especially when you consider how long this has taken.

I agree.

It needed more cowbell.
