Well we have peoples on this site asking for a refund after playing for 20+ hours and finishing the game so I am not surprised.
Well, I mean Sony would be quite eager to promote it's exclusives of-course, and this gives them a nice free set-up for that: "look, this is exactly why you need platform exclusives".

Though Last patch may be worse for PS4, I don't see how technically giving Xbox (Home) Console exclusivity earns Sony any praise.
The thing about this though if their comments on "SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction" are true then firstly don't censor games/block well known titles, also I'd appreciate it more if you didn't just remove games (thankfully its still available on retail.)

But if you are going to remove games because they are broken as hell, then why is Dragon Age Inquisition & Mass Effect still available on PS3? Mass Effect is broken as anything on the PS3 version, it crashes and has alot of issues. And DAI should of never been released originally on it as it has it all fps issues, graphical issues, sound issues, crashes and numerous other glitches.

Just feels like Sony have singled out Cyberpunk/CD Project Red.

Edit:

And if you want a PS4 game SRIV crashes quite often on the PS4 version.

Supposedly this action was taken because of an extremely high number of customers demanding refunds. With the huge anticipation -- and pre-orders -- for this game, I do believe that those asking for refunds were a very large number.

I am a cyberpunk fan, but was never very interested in CP2077. Still, this situation is crazy and I feel bad for everyone involved. But when you bring something to market and it's as big a mess as the 10 or so videos I watched depict, you have to expect this. At least No Man's Sky worked on launch; it wasn't a "complete" experience, but you could "play" the game.

CDPR wanted to be in the in the big leagues... but seems to have shown (SEEMS... I'm not willing to put everything on them yet) that they became symbolic of what they once denounced. Even if I was never a CP2077 devotee, kinda heartbreaking.

As for Sony... I'm sure the game will be relisted when it is in a generally playable state, but that will unfortunately probably be long after the holidays. Hopefully CDPR learned some hard lessons and can pull this out of the dumpster fire they started. 2020 is a crazy year on every level

I'm sure it was, but Sony cannot take the high ground and say they "SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction" when other heavily broken games still remain listed on their store.

I agree it is a difficult question... but... from what I have seen, many people claimed CP2077 unplayable. If it just had a few bugs -- or 1 or 2 big, specific issues -- I think it would probably still be listed....

... but dunno...

I'm no expert on any of this.... and I have not personally played the game

It is (or at least was before the last patch) mostly unplayable on ps4, but the problems are not limited to consoles.
I assume it will be fine approaching march.

I own it on Steam and sure there are a few issues such as being thrown across the map, hud elements getting suck on screen, controls not working, vehicles spawning/being available when they shouldn't but aside from that on PC I've not had any other issues.

Edit: Also spawned vehicles (AI controlled drive away from you, so you have to chase or wait,) and the health bar can get glitchy as in not working at all its empty with no numbers so you have to rely on the red on the side of screens or restart the game.

Most issues on console seem to be caused by the platform -especially the base versions- simply being far too weak for the game with its current graphics and optimization. The bugs are just on top of that.
If you play it on a PS5 for example it runs far better, still bad because it's just the PS4 game via backwards-compatability (and thus with limited usage of existing memory, cores, features and speed) but far better.
