I'm aware that Driving never works as well with mouse+keyboard, but it depends on how bad it actually is.
That's why I said I'd need a playable demo, i can't get a good impression on the controls by watching a video.

What I'm worried about is being stuck in the game because I can't finish a driving section (that's why I'm also fine if I can completely ignore it in the final game), which would obviously mean I'd spent money on a game I'm never going to be able to finish.

Very enjoyed. Looks like blend of Deus Ex, cancelled Prey 2 and Witcher. I hope the game will be released next year.

I liked everything I've seen in the demo gameplay, but I didn't like most of what I've heard.

I don't have a problem with the voices, even if there is just a single female and a single male voice for all the models, just get good voice actors for the two protagonists and we're golden CDProjekt.

But I feel that the music, isn't just unfitting for a cyberpunk setting, but I would call it bad entirely. Maybe CDProjekt can try to contact Frank Klepacki. The dude composed the music for most of the Westwood and Petroglyph games. Just listen to the Command and Conquer soundtrack and tell me that something similar wouldn't feel perfect for Cyberpunk 2077. Personally, I would call most of his game soundtracks true masterpieces.

Or how about the soundtrack from chaos overlords, just listen to this track, or any of the other tracks, just check the linked playlist on youtube.

The other thing that I didn't like was the sound of the weapons. They need to sound more impactful. The shotgun needs to be the most icon weapon in any game, and yours barely sounds like a shotgun, though it looks AMAZING!

Hopefully the music track and weapons sounds, are indeed just attempts to settle on a style, and you'll move away from it. I also didn't like the song used for the trailer, but once I found the complete version of the song on youtube, I felt it flowed much better. Turns out that my problem was with the way the song had been cut to fit the trailer. But the current song feels like a move in the wrong direction.

I'm willing to bet there will be several, in fact the moment I saw the trailer, and I saw that kid playing that shooting VR game, I said to myself that that has to be one of the minigames.

No. But at the fact that one of them kept talking after his head was blown off...

I was laughing at that. He started talking when the first shot blasted his legs off, and he continued talking after the second shot blasted his head off. I'm sure that it's ridiculously easy to fix it, but that was a really funny sequence of events.

^Yeah same here. I understand why it happened, and I don't consider it a particularly important bug, but it's still funny.

Doesn't the video explicitly say you can buy the droid yourself without corp aid. I know I want stealth but for a possible peaceful resolution it does say you can pay for it yourself thus no virus and presumably happy everyone, well so long as you don't run into the corps outside.

I'm hoping you could maybe examine the corp chip like they do with the bots shard and spot the virus. Maybe gather more info from someone or more thorough/different questioning of the relevant players etc letting you plan things a bit cleaner. You know like Alpha Protocol where you could buy additional info before the mission just rather than a simple UI you have to do some leg work or net work.

That said I do think things going sideways should be a possibility particularly if you don't do work to understand things before going in. The whole point of that choice in the video was to show that the corps write the rules and if you trusted them you made a mistake. No different from stepping from the shadows at the wrong moment or picking the wrong gun for a firefight.

I would have to watch it again, but I don't think I remember such a line.
Dex wants V and Jack to get the bot, but he doesn't offer them the money to buy it (partly because he is enemies with the gang) - but he gives V the corp contact (on the shard, that she jacks in) and mentions, it could be useful to go that route.
Apart from that - V and Jack simply don't have the necessary 50k to buy the bot.
When V is with the ripperdoc, she says, she pays him later (and her wallet contains only ED140,-)

Sure.
But where was a way to "work to understand" things.
How could V and Jack have learned that the chip was rigged?

There is even the suggestion from the narrator, that V and Jack could just keep the creds (but that would make it much more difficult to get the bot - again, they have not the necessary money).

But now that we know that the credchip was rigged...do you believe we could just take the money?
Or would the game just screw us over in a new way?

I fear, it will be the latter.

But again, as I said yesterday already: it's just a gameplay demo...we'll have to wait and see, how the final game will turn out.

I enjoyed it. Looking forward to pre-purchasing when it's available.

Somebody mentioned the characters being bullet sponges. I agree. I didn't like it. I also didn't like seeing damage numbers roll off of enemies, like is typical for MMOs. I expect the first of those won't change, but hopefully the second will be a toggle option.

The game world looks incredible. I hope that my character can just wander around, taking in the sights, driving around (flying as in Blade Runner would have been cool though), stopping off for noodles and a drink, etc.
