Just another complaint on the POS i spent $60 on. All abilities are ignored when time slows down. as right when it starts i hit my double just but the animation stops when the slowmo stops. wtf is that? like were the game mechanics made by my 2 year old nephew? or is CDPJR just finally admitting defeat on this piece of garbage? before anyone says some bs. I beat the game 1 on corp 1 on streetkid. and hated every second but kept trying to give it the benefit of the doubt.

You're most likely to receive a helpful response if you
1. Post in the Cyberpunk 2077 forum.
2. Use a descriptive topic title.
3. Keep the post civil. I'm sure it must be very frustrating when a game doesn't work properly, especially if you paid full price around launch time. Nonetheless, a hostile tone can be off-putting to people who would otherwise help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that exactly how it works in real life too? So if anything, the game is very realistic there.

At least in real life when my time slows down and I hit my double family jewels, all my abilities go down to zero and all the animation in my vision and slowmo stops, instantly. And an excruciating pain ensues.

Ya, some of the game bugs can be frustrating at times. Still a very fun game, but part of that is muffled by the bugs. On the upside they seem to at least claim to be dedicated to fixing it over time. It's been a long time since the last patch so some people are feeling skeptical and upset about it and I'm kind of disappointed as well... but I think they might be setting up for a big 1.3 patch that is possibly bigger than anyone expected. It's all pure speculation but if we're lucky hopefully they will fix more than game crashes and broken quests this time, and actually fix the thousands of graphical glitches, broken inventory/crafting/etc. UI as well as make quality of life improvements. I could be naively hoping that this is what 1.3 brings us, but we'll probably find out soon.

Until then we just have to deal with the bugs and hopefully still enjoy what is there to enjoy. I've been enjoying it for the most part and biting my tongue at times and taking a break for a few days here and there due to annoying bugs etc., but keep finding cool things to do in the game as well. For anyone who gets really upset over the plethora of issues in the game I'd recommend just taking a break from it for some number of months until it comes out of Early Access <JOKING!>, and starts getting public reviews that they've turned it around finally.

They said on investor's call that they are committed to the franchise for the long haul, and that's unlikely to work out for them UNLESS they fix the game, which gives me strong hope that they will indeed come through for us given enough time, even if it sometimes tests our patience. :)

One thing I find helps soothe frustration with the game is arming my Gorilla Arms and going down through the alleyways in The Glen, and behind the El Coyote bar, and punching the crap out of all of the Valentinos. Deeply satisfying!

Anyhow, taking a break from the game for a while does help. After my first playthrough I gave it a couple months break before starting a second playthrough. I'm almost done now, and at some point will want to do another, but going to put it on the shelf this time until I hear a tonne of reports that craploads of bugs are fixed including low hanging fruit and quality of life stuff etc. There's a fun game in there, but even more fun one once they fix all the brokenness. ;)

So you can use slowmo in real time which means that the thing you are doing stops? are your 2 brain cells on or taking a nap?

missions were transparent just like the story driving felt like a stick was constantly up V's ass. half the characters stared at walls which broke any bits of immersion.

Hi Rogue_vVice, please refrain from insulting other users and using vulgar language. While we understand that a game not working/not being up to your standards can be frustrating, it is not an excuse for the aggressive and confrontational attitude displayed here. Please get acquainted with our Forum Code of Conduct.

Please don't hesitate to contact our Technical Support Team if you're experiencing issues with a game.

Rogue_vVice: English?
How about Spanish? Or Catalan? Or German? If you want we could even talk in Schwyzerdütsch.

Let me repeat what I wrote in very simple words: CyberP. Cyber Pee. Do not pee in the forums.

ps. Maybe ask Fairfox's neighbour if you could use her toilet.

pps.

Rogue_vVice: Shit mechanics. not bugs
Sadly the game has a fair bit of both. :( I think the parts of the game that have crappy mechanics or bad AI are the ones that are likely to stay that way the longest or even forever though, as they are not bugs as you say but rather just bad or rushed design choices. The NCPD in general being a prime example of that. They've changed the mechanic a few times in a bandaid sort of way but it is still terrible how they spawn out of nowhere and can be overly aggressive, their response to a crime not being balanced to the actual crime that happens.

We're more likely to see bug fixes for things be the focus for some time to come, but I don't think we're as likely to see them address the bad AI or game mechanics in any material way for a long time if ever, even though they've tweaked it a bit here and there in patches.

Still, the game is improving over time and 1.3 has a tonne of fixes and improvements in the right direction. Hopefully we see a patch 1.4 without having to wait as long for it.
