I just noticed this game on sale on steam and I Always thought this was some crappy myst clone. For some reason I clicked it and it's a (probably crapp) resident evil clone. Now I am interested. Did anybody play this. How is it?

It's on GG DRM free, problem is it's not on sale and I'm not pushing $15 for it right now. :D

I'm VERY interested though I'd never heard of it before your post. The graphics look a little rough which for a horror shooter I'm fine with (also less demanding spec wise), and on GG (for what that's worth) its gotten really good reviews.

Well, I am played. I buyed this from Dotemu. Gameplay and controls reminds Resident Evil. While you are provided with two playable characters, you cannot choose between them but instead must play as one or the other on certain levels. While their appearances may be different, the two characters' skills and abilities are exactly the same, so it doesn't matter which one you control at any given time. Its average game, but I liked.

Cool! Since there aren't a lot of oldschool survival horror games: average is fine by me.

Since it's so cheap I will probably buy it later this week on steam. Not sure if i will immediately play it though but if I will I will report back here.

That game is SUPERB. I played it to the end many years ago. Not exactly a clone of those mentioned (RE is the closest), but very good on its own. Full of puzzles and many kinds of enemies and bosses to defeat.

Yeah, a few of us have been looking at this game recently! Must be synchronicity.

It's on Steam and Zoom DRM-free. Still surprised GOG doesn't have it.

Could perhaps maybe also be the fact that I plug it every few weeks somewhere on the forums as well ;D

That said, yeah.....it is a decent game(still have to finish it, keep losing save data due to HW failures before I get to finish it and some other games) that I recommend to those who like the feel/look of classic RE games and ancient egyptian horror themes as well.

Maybe GOG rejected this back circa 2015. I imagine it'd be unrejected today (the couple hundred wishlist votes help a little), although it is only $3 on Steam. ($5 on Zoom)

And imo worth every cent :)

That said, I have a feeling Gog/the IP holders would charge 10 for it here(not that it isn't worth it...it is).

I'm skeptical, I think it'd be the same price as on Steam, like with the recent Funbox releases (Gun Metal and others that are only $3 on Steam).

In any case I hope it shows up.

Well, seeing how high priced some game releases have been on Gog(when compared to steam/etc), i'd say it's more likely it'd cost a bit more on Gog. Of course that said, i'd love to be shown to be wrong :)

Yep, it, Chosen: Well of Souls(to go with the other Meridian games), and Harbinger.......getting any of those games here(or Zoom) would be awesome, and if they all got released that'd be even better.
