TwoHandedSword: ('Course, I've also seen the unquestionably godawful Rocky Horror sequel, so there's that.)
But... I kind of like Shock Treatment...

same. it's really not bad
I don't know if it might be considered a cult film, but my favorite horror film by far is Lake Placid.

There is a new commercial running, I think for a Pizza chain, that features a bunch of people sitting in bleachers chanting for this pizza, and all I can think of is "Denton! Denton! You've got, great retention!"
Some more recommendations:

*) The Hellraiser series. Even though there are some bad movies in this series there are also some very good ones.

*) Nightmare on Elm Street series. That's also a classic series which back in the day was considered mainstream but today they are rather seen as cult classics. There are also some bad movies in there but the whole series is still worth watching.

*) Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Now this is a movie that everyone should be watching. Two hillbillies who save a girl from drowning are believed to be kidnapping psycho killers by her college friends. A few misunderstandings and accidents later and the college kids are convinced they need to fight for her as well as their own life and build traps or surprise attack the protagonists but only end up killing themselves or each other in the process. Quite bloody and hilariously funny. :-)
Another cult movie:
Dude, where`s my car?

Haha, I love that movie. I first saw it during a summer daycare type thing. Not really summer camp, since you went home every day, but yeah. I was like, 12. After the movie finished the guy in charge looked over at us and very solemnly said "dudes, you can't tell your parents we watched this movie."

When you say "solemnly" you mean "blunted"?
David Lynch's Dune.

Our man Ellison puts it best

Not that I like it but:

The Doom Generation has cult status I think

some stuff I haven't seen but am aware of that isn't necessarily what I call "cult" but simply b-horror (or c-horror!)

Driller Killer

Living Dead Girl

Nude for Satan

Escape from Hell

Cannibal Feroux (I see it was mentioned)

I also have Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers and a bunch of other Fred Olen Ray stuff to watch

How about things like:

And Give Us Our Daily Sex

and

Sexy Nights of the Living Dead

How have:

Caligula and

Caligula II - The Untold Story

not been mentioned?!

Oh and Dolemite should be mentioned too I think.
Has anyone mentioned Gummo? Yeah, umm... that one. Don't watch it if you have a hard time filtering out complete lunacy from your brain.

Or Love and a .45. It was a sillier, low budget version of Natural Born Killers. Great movie.

Ooo Gummo, good one!
Gummo is seriously messed up :P I'd rather watch from justin to kelly...

btw, I stumbled onto Gummo when looking up a certain actress : Linda Manz, who played the litte girl in The Wanderers. She does not look good in Gummo :P

Brain Candy will always hold a special place in my heart. It's, well it's a movie all right, with very extreme language. It's from the 90's about a drug company that rushes a happy pill through without the proper testing. The vast majority of the characters are played by just 5 people. It's one of those movies where you either love it or you hate it.
