gandalf.nho: A sequel for Kaptain Brawe:
Kaptain Brawe 2: A Space Travesty - a Steve Ince story
Interesting team-up; in case anybody isn't familiar with Steve:
http://www.steve-ince.co.uk/projects.htm

Also worth noting, they're releasing the first half of the original Kaptain Brawe game for free to try out, and all backers starting from $3 get the second half as well:

Dieselstörmers actually reached its goal! YAY!
There are still 4 hours left on the kickstarter in case you also want in on it!
Since the campaign is over, I feel that it may be now be safer to post the following link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bobsgame/bobs-game

Unfortunately, one can not be told what "Bob's game" is, you really need to discover it yourself, but I'll leave you with the following quote:
It is a game within a game about the development of itself in realtime, paralleled with a real life tournament to coincide with the virtual. "bob's game" blends the line between reality and simulation, and reality and extra-dimensional reality. "bob's game" breaks both the so-called "4th wall" and further yet- the "5th wall," unlocking the secrets of "the Matrix," or "the Womb" as it is referred to in some editions of the Bible.
Also, you might want to check out the guy's website, a long sordid tale of drugs, pornography addiction, exposing the game industry as a criminal cult, becoming God and uncovering grand conspiracies involving his parents: http://bobsgame.com/

I can't tell if that Kickstarter blurb is a tongue in cheek stab at other KS projects with delusions of grandeur or if the author is honestly a narcissistic moron.

I wonder who exactly pledged to this though...
I haven't had time to check, but it seems like Pale blue got my words to heart and released a gameplay update. Yay!
This tabletop RPG looks interesting:

Hero's Journey: A Tabletop RPG of Myth and Legend - a roleplaying game of gods and heroes, set in a modern world full of ancient myth.
Solar Highways

Captures solar energy. Melts snow, prevents ice. Embedded LED Lights allow for an on-demand reconfiguration of Right of Way. Pressure sensitive to road obstructions - alerts road crews - LED lights on roadway, displays warning of approaching road danger. More.

Construction of Solar Highways yields a bonus cavity for electric and telecommunications lines. Named the "Cable Corridor", this space allows for the economical retrofitting of utility wires from above-ground installations (and while installing a Solar Highway, would be the ideal time for a telecommunications company to install high-capacity fiber).

Additionally, the Solar Highway construction allows for a second corridor for storm water run-off and initial pollutant filtering. Reduce flooding, filter pollutants from storm water, (harvests water for toilet flushing?), More.

8 Days left to reach goal of $1,000,000,000. At time of this posting, they were just over $300,000 short. But this is an Indiegogo with Flexible Funding, so all funds raised will support the project.

They already collected more than $999 million? That's impressive ;) Fortunately, the prices on GOG are low, so no mistakes like this here :P

You can discuss more in this thread, if you're interested :)
An innovative FPS RPG game with a unique combination from RTS and sandbox environment that brings you a new gaming experience:
CivCraft - Legends of Ellaria
A Song for Viggo: a game made of paper, unfolding depression

A point and click-game made of real paper, about a parent who accidentally kills his son Viggo. This game is about the aftermath.
The 7th Guest 3: The Collector is attempting a second go-around at gathering funds for the game. There are only 8 days left and they have made only a little more than half of what they need. I know that people really enjoy these games, so I thought I would share it while there's still time to help them out.
Are there any games which are likely to give more than 8 hours of playtime? Seems like most of the projects (RPGs aside) seem fairly short...too much to expect i guess

Sadly, not much different of the bulk of the non-indie games too...

What genre of games are you talking about? The RPG's, the strategy games, the simulations, they typically have a long play time.
