AstralWanderer: The Meridian Shard RPG - An indie game (Feb 16)
Attractive looking adventure/RPG
The "realistic" breasts give some meaning to the "Ultimate Fantasy Studio" name. Can't say I have high hopes for the story quality.

Any more stretching and she'll explode.

But had to give you +1 for the pun.

some great quotes from the game near the end of the pitch video:

"I don't like it Gordo.... That cave is likely crawling with deadly krotch snakes"
"Snakes don't crawl. Besides, I never met a krotch snake I couldn't handle."

^_^

edit:
and apparently a "Optional HUD - For those who prefer to play with a clean screen, you can turn the heads-up display off at anytime. "

hudfreegamer should be pleased if they like this sort of game.

Demon Core is a story-driven first-person survival action games for the PC and MAC, currently in development by the Finnish development team Apex Games Ltd. The game features an edgy female protagonist; a scientist forced to take up arms when everything falls apart and unique art style combining near-future high technology with exotic Russian design, filled with ornaments, decorations and elegance.

There is gameplay video up.

$180 000 for what looks like a hl2 mod ? haha, that's a good one.

gandalf.nho: This one looks interesting, sadly is a MMORTS:
Novus AEterno: The Next Evolution in RTS Games

nijuu: I honestly dont understand why devs need to push mmos onto kickstarters
Meanwhile, said MMO has beaten its target by 100% with 16 days to go.

(Yeah, back in Dec I though it was going to crash and burn, too.)
after all the ones I cared about *Broken Sword, Tex Murphy, Mighty No. 9, Torment, Wasteland 2* got done and made or being made now..........I really think they have overmilked the damn cow here. Can't be too hard to get investors to fund games people are interested in. Why not have it more like Steam Greenlight now and just have people vote for what they want to see instead of putting up the money for it.

Have to admit, im finding fewer and fewer ones im interested in backing.
Anyone knows how The Banner Saga is distributing codes for backers?

Backers can get a steam key right now by logging in on the developer's web site with their forum credentials. DRM free will come later and they say that they are still working with GOG to distribute soon.

"A DRM-free version of the game is under development now and we are still working with GOG to distribute soon. This will also be available to all backers even if you downloaded a Steam copy."

Which make it a dev issue. Not GOG's.

Got it, thanks!

Relevant website: Dropkicker - engineers review technology/hardware crowdfunding projects.

Edit: just got the email from Humble: Broken Age act 1 is released - steam only, DRM-free available upon completion of Act 2. Ass. It's off to the almond groves for me, then.
