Yeah, there are quite a few RPGs that couldn't/won't make it. Which is sad, but I guess many people already invested a lot in the big RPGs of this/last year. Haven't kickstarted any of the new ones myself...

nijuu: Deathfire failed :(
As a result dev changed the scope and stuff about the game on their homepage
http://deathfiregame.com/pledge-information/

Basically what used to be full game for $20 base tier is now an 'episodic' rpg .....and unless im seeing things its now $20 for EP 1-3 and $20 for 4-6.... $40 for this is kinda ridiculous

Read pledge info wrong. i blame it on late night last night lol. Yeah there's been a few games which havent funded.....and curiously got through greenlight. So demand is there.. having said that im not sure how episodic rpg will work..

Thought so, haven't read through it myself yet. Will delete your quote though, don't want any other people to get confused :D
Well, I also helped greenlight it, but didn't kickstart it...and with a 60 day period it might have made it (only was 30 day campaign, right?)

And it looks that with 15$ you'll get episodes 1-3, with 20$ all of them. Might go for that. Though of course, the risk is higher, since I don't think you can get a refund from them (still haven't read the Q&A though, will edit my post when I did so!)

Edit: So, if they don't reach their $50k goal within the next two weeks, they'll have to abandon the project and the donors will be refunded! So if you want to see this project stay alive, pledge now! Think will do so too these next days!

GaminggUy45: If you like visual Novels check this out maybe we can get it on GOG http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1500482054/sunrider?ref=category I don't believe it has any obscene content.

nijuu: Is this like the first time a game will be released for free from Kickstarter backing
Nope I've seen a few, like Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead from this year.
I guess the Nethermancer issue scared a lot of potential backers (many people only check a project once if they don't like something they never return, even if the issue was fixed later...)
Finally found time to update the OP. Sorry for the delay.

This one looks interesting, sadly is a MMORTS:
Novus AEterno: The Next Evolution in RTS Games
For Wasteland 2 backers with acess to the early beta, the Steam keys are available in the Ranger's Center: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2/posts/691853

I honestly dont understand why devs need to push mmos onto kickstarters
The Noble Beast Classics project is about to end in failure in about 15 hours, but Noble Beast is offering Steampunk Holmes for free to every backer who pledges $8 or more, even if the project doesn't get funded.

I honestly have no idea what you mean. It makes no more sense than "I honestly don't understand why devs need to push platformers onto Kickstarter" or "push 8-bit survival horror games onto kickstarter" or whatever.

I think he meant MMO games on Kickstarter are not doing well.

Everytime i see a MMO on KS i just shake my head....
According to this post in the Outcast forum, something Outcast-related is planned for Kickstarter... http://www.gog.com/forum/outcast/kickstarter_incoming_also_extended_soundtrack_outcast_ii
Noble Beast made Steampunk Holmes free on iTunes for the next few days, following the failed Kickstarter.

They're not doing that badly. Not sure how they're doing compared to other genres, but certainly not that badly (off the top of my head: Shroud of the Avatar, City of Titans, Pathfinder Online, and of course Star Citizen).
