mystral: Only a $5k goal?
avatar
JMich: Not really. They already did one kickstarter. They did have a discussion at the backer's only part of their forum about it. Not sure how I feel about it, but be aware that they are not trying to make a decent MoM successor on a $5K budget, they already have 45000 pounds.

And do take a look at the alpha they linked.
All right, I should have read the whole page before criticizing I suppose. My mistake.

The alpha is really limited, but the combat system seems to work pretty well. I guess I should back this as an apology for my wrong assumption and hope they'll get right what other games in the same genre that came out recently have gotten wrong.
Despite successfully reaching their funding goal on , Harvest devs have launched another campaign, this time on [url=http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/harvest--7]Indiegogo.
Wow I can't believe it's been a month since I last updated this thread. Anyways, here are the new additions. There are some really nice projects in there like Dragon Kings, Mars Attacks, Rebuild 3, Way of the Tiger reprint, Rimworld, River City Underground and Hyper Light Drifter.

Also, Mierce Minis' Darklands: First Edition has got to be one of the most expensive lines of minis I've come across in a while :O

Thanks very much for listing The Way of the Tiger. I'm amused that you needed a new category for it. But we're not the only gamebooks around:

Yeah there was a period where gamebooks were popular on Kickstarter, and I didn't know whether to list them as RPGs or not. In the end I thought it fairest to just let them have their own categories.

(of course, me being a fan of gamebooks added to the bias :P)

nijuu: Third time is the charm?
hopefully it speeds up their process ^_^
the last round successfully had them scratch and claw their ways forwards with the ship assets

i still love the joke someone put up before "its not about masturbation in the air" or something like that

but xyem's still right about them needing to re-work/re-do the "alerts"
it pops up one letter at a time painfully slow. youd be dead waiting for the alert to tell you what was wrong.
unless its just still botched in the video and it got reworked
