lowyhong: I actually did this before, only to encounter the dreaded word limit, but this could be worth a try again now that each category has its own post.
thats the reason i suggest tripling your estimates, then you can just port the old thread OPs over here in their entirety.

I agree with ErekoseDM that it may prove wise to reserve more space for the most popular sectors.

And lets see if I got this correct.
lowyhong will update the project index in this thread, but we still mention/ recommend projects in the old one?

Yeah, I will have 3 posts reserved - going to get rid of the 'links to forum threads' one since those links will probably end up confusing people.

I will be shifting everything from the old thread to this one, including some projects that have been mentioned e.g. by gandalf.nho. Been a bit busy today, so wasn't really able to finish everything in one sitting, but hopefully tomorrow...

I rarely read the OP (except occasionally to see if a project I want to post about is already there), but added this one to my favourites. I hope this one will replace the other one cleanly, I don't want to track both.
