triock: A Place for the Unwilling

Adventure game set in a living city filled with secrets to unveil. An open world inspired by Majora's Mask and Sunless Sea.

And their comment about DRM-Free version - "Will the game be available on DRM-FREE platforms (eg GoG / HumbleBundle)?" We are big fans of DRM-FREE platforms, so it's highly possible, but we would need to check a few things before making an official statement."
Yes, I saw this one from the get go and I'm interested; but without a drm-free version confirmed it won't work for me. And then, there's also the fact that I already lost the early bird in spite of getting on time, because drm-free aren't set from the get go. It's not the first time it happens to me and I'm getting sick of it.

"A bizarre and beautiful 2D adventure about a minister in Hell made by a one-man team."

Another good looking and interesting one-man project that is crushing it. The creator won't let me back it, though.
"I am the most comfortable offering only Steam versions of Pinstripe at the present moment. I totally understand the desire for a DRM-free version, though! I will continue to look into having this as an option, but for the time being, the Steam version is available."
Yes, it's very unfortunate that he does not offer a DRM-free version - at least not yet. The game looks gorgeous! However, I'm hopeful that maybe we can see the game DRM-free after the release and maybe even on GOG. Also it seems like the creator of the game has backed Overload, one of my favorite Kickstarter projects right now; so he gets my vote, and maybe my money too! :)

Mediocre Monster lets you play as a goblin in a JRPG game. The concept is kinda like Wreck-it-Ralph. Check out the trailer. DRM-free is available.

Posthuman Sanctuary is a rogue-lite, visual novel-like post-apocalyptic game. Reminds me of Darkest Dungeon. No word on DRM.
Kaidan
by Metanoia Games

The game, which is asking for $75,000, has an intruiging premise. You can either be a ‘victim’ or a ‘haunter’ – several players can explore a haunted building while the other sneaks around in ethereal form, setting traps, trying to scare other players, and eventually attacking them.

There’s a heavy storytelling component too, with players being able to craft their own narratives and scenarios.\

If you get in now, you can get a copy of the game for a $15 pledge, until the Early Bird pledges run out (at which point you’ll need to put down $20).

If you’ve got $10,000 to spare, the team will include you in the game as one of the haunters.

If it’s funded, Kaidan will appear on PC, Mac, and PS4.

This is the first project that caught my eye in a long time, plus it seems to need just a bit of a push to go through, so I'm going to back it without looking much into it. Take that, wallet!
The Artful Escape Of Francis Vendetti

"The nephew of a dead folk legend embarks on a multidimensional journey to create his stage persona."

The Artful Escape of Francis Vendetti is narrative-driven action/adventure, music-sampling, platforming, rhythm laser-light guitar solo kind of game for PC and MAC. Your dialogue choices shape the backstory, image, charisma and the name of Francis's new stage persona. There’s a plethora of extra-dimensional-animalia to interact with and sample with your field recorder. Play your samples back to gain access to new areas, hypnotize beasts, and create your own alien arrangements. Make landscapes sing with your movement. Play operatic guitar solos through your holographic amplifier. Climb mountains. Ford the planes of space and oblivion. Become an awe-inspiring entertainer from beyond the stars.

On DRM-Free, they answered in the comments:
"We will be giving out Steam keys and no additional DRM. We hope to also get on GOG which has no DRM."
While it's Kickstarter has long since ended, I think Spark the Electric Jester looks very promising. The game is a 90's era mascot platformer in the same vein as Sonic the Hedgehog. It looks really nice, has some great music, and will be released on Steam DRM-free!

For those interested, I wrote a long post about the game over here and included links to the game's trailer, wishlist entry, and playable demo.
Nice spam. ^_^

Good, I always wanted a mobile toilet.
It's a movie funding.

10 min teaser
I'll have to vouch for this game again, as unfortunately they're struggling to get traction, an they're running out of time. Which looks all kinds of unfair to me, seeing how peculiar and gorgeous this games seems to be.

The Artful Escape Of Francis Vendetti

PS: And in the comments the did say they hoped to get on GOG.
