karnak1: We Happy Few - "Dishonored" video game meets "The Prisoner"?
Had to back that. Love The Prisoner, and I'm glad to see these devs are making a DRM-free version this time around.

karnak1: Song of Horror - For those who loved the first "Alone in the Dark".
That too is worth splashing out on. Cheers!

karnak1: Reikon Dungeon - 3D Roguelike realtime Dungeon Crawler (the option of being able to reincarnate as the creature who killed your last hero seems an original option)

We Happy Few - "Dishonored" video game meets "The Prisoner"?
Back We happy few and Reikon. Looks interesting.
Since we so have Trek Nation here this might be interesting for all Trek fans too:

A Kickstarter has been launched for World’s Dawn a Harvest Moon style game for PC

The Kickstarter will finance an upgrade of all character portraits, an original soundtrack, and a detailed QA Process.

Currently 75% of the game is available. This includes the Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons.

I have played the game for at least 30 hours and game dialogue is very well written. The characters have more depth in my opinion than they did in Harvest Moon.

Please contribute to this project as we have so few Harvest Moon style games for PC.

But that's Steam only. Sorry
Transcendence by Kronosaur Productions has been Greenlit!

One of the coolest games I've ever played. Found out about it shortly after playing Ur-Quan Masters HD (reboot of Star Control 2). This makes me happy!! I wanted to help give them the Greenlight, but didn't have sufficient reputation to do so.

Tekkaman-James: <span class="bold">Tokyo Dark</span> - A fusion of Western point-and-click gameplay with Japanese visual novel storytelling.

All tiers come with a Steam key and a DRM-Free copy of the game. It looks like an interesting (and creepy) game. It's so intriguing to see a point-n-click game with an anime/manga aesthetic. Could this be the first of its kind? Hmm...
Just a friendly reminder that <span class="bold">Tokyo Dark</span> is on its last day. If you haven't backed yet, now is definitely the time. They are around $9K away from their stretch goal to add actual anime cutscenes to the game. I think that would be amazing, so please think about contributing!

Also, not really gaming-related, but the <span class="bold">2016 Baby Bestiary Calendar</span> campaign just launched! If you need to be reminded what day it is and/or you enjoy cute drawings of mythological creatures, you should get yourself one of these calendars! There are tiers to get the actual Baby Bestiary handbook that was funded last year as well. If you missed it, this is a perfect opportunity to grab a copy!

Awww, that's adorable! And such wonderful artwork. Immediately backed for the calendar and book (print)!

Awesome! I can't wait to get the book! The artwork for the book is a bit more realistic, but no less cute.
The new artist working on the calendar has a very different style, but it really plays up the cute-ness factor a lot, so I can't complain.
If you're curious, this month is Minotaur Calf month on the 2015 calendar! ^_^

Oh how perfect! This is my birthday month, and the Minotaur is my mythological totem. I hope he's in the book too, otherwise I might need to hunt down a link for the 2015 calendar.
Fast forward more than 1.5 years, and the developer tries to find a company to support the development of the game, claims that some people wanted money without returning anything.

All of the art that was generated for the 2015 calendar (and many more) will be featured in the handbook.
Still, if you're interested, you can get the print version of the 2015 calendar ($15, shipping included) via the project creator's Amazon sellers account . Alternatively, you can get the PDF version via [url=http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/137249/Baby-Bestiary-2015-Calendar]DriveThruRPG for just $1.
