Piranjade: Project Ravensdale from the guys and gals that brought us Giana Sisters:Twisted Dreams will be released DRM free if the kickstarter succeeds!
Please spread the word and consider to pledge! We need more modern, cool platform games like this (and DRM free on top)!
game is more aimed at coop and multiplayer from what I understand

Priceless.

The idea sounds fun, if you can put the foucs on social integration aside.

It's surely not a Giana Sisters:Twisted Dreams Part 2 but it still looks pretty cool and I would like to see it made. :-D
And hey, I play a lot of stuff with my hubby and my friends in coop, why not try out a platformer?

Its not though. Its an entirely new product from what i remember reading. And yes i like the devs because of the awesome work they did on Giana. Im just not sure about this one (and whether it will be successfully funded) :/

They got my pledge (after deciding to release DRM-free) and I'm sharing information about the kickstarter wherever I can. That's all I can do for now. And wait. And hope. :-)
Balrum is almost entering his last week and need 25k to get funded

Plus Canadian kickstarter projects are going to be available starting Sept 9.

Well I backed Legend of Iya. It's not looking great for it though, which is a shame.

Interestingly, only 1 of the last 3 projects I have backed has been funded.

Probably won't do much good. Star Citizen was very successful on KS and elsewhere. Projects which don't do well on KS are likely to do worse outside it.
Following ET3D advice, re-posted from here

Now, a creepy adventure about mental illness cats! DRM-free.

Looks really promising, can't wait to try the demo.
Another tabletop RPG in the form of Frozen Skies for the Savage Worlds system, has a week left and offering $32 worth of RPG maps from Fabled Environments for every backer even if they pledge a couple of dollars.

There is a nice little review of it over on Geek Native.
John Carmack joins Oculus as CTO! That's the first news I've seen come off Kickstarter which really blew my mind.
Promised and e-sim buddy that I'd post this up for him!

Top down survival horror/stealth game. I've only briefly read up on it, but it seems rather interesting and they're not asking for much at all.
A tactical RTS:
