YAZOO! The wait is almost over!

The timeless cult classic Croc Legend of the Gobbos and its remastered version arrive on GOG on April 2nd!

Words can't express how excited we are to welcome this gaming legend after almost 30 years.

Wishlist it now to be notified immediately upon release—so you can grab this green beauty and keep it yours forever!
Great release! Good memories. And it is an exclusive for Gog on Pc, not Steam.

It was the Mario64 for the computers for those who didn't have the N64. I remember played a demo of Croc or a ripped version on my old computer, the great years of 3dfx.

35gb for the available space must be a lot of space for HD textures.

No Croc 2 announcement? Sad emoji...

But wasn't this game already available several months ago?
I hope it being exclusive pays off, though I imagine this won't be eternally exclusive.

No, GOG just announced it was coming here.

Wonderful news! It's also great to see the classic version also included. I'm also very glad that Argonaut Games is back. They should also remaster FX Fighter too. Fingers crossed!

Very true. Every remaster/re-release should be done this way. Also greatly increases the likelihood of me buying it day 1, even though I still have the game on an original CD.

I want the original games first and foremost. The remasters are always just a nice bonus.

Croc Legend of the Gobbos with the release date!
HunchBluntley with the continuing to be irritated by this bizarre phrasing! :p
Finally :)
Will get it instantly
Croc will be an instant purchase for me, I can't wait!

I like the way they did it with the Tomb Raider games where you can switch from original to remastered with just a button, anytime you want. Even in the menus it works :)

Sure, the game could probably be optimized to take less storage space.
But if this size allows to end-users otherwise have the as minimally compressed or otherwise as lossless as possible assets delivered with the game, I'd say preservation-wise that is a big win.

Oh, and of course there is also the "Crocipedia" which might actually take the majority of the storage-size-requirement depending on the quality;
it's basically same as with say "Taito Legends" and other similar compilation-titles where the game-ROMs itself took very minimal space from the discs.

How does it compare to say Rayman 2 (I guess most renowned direct competitor)?
Just how much is paying Argonaut Games to have yet another banner on the front page lmao

Oh, weird. thought it was already available for sale when I saw it being advertised on the homepage back in December(?).
