Hey guys,


To help us reach more gamers and further grow the GOG community (because the more the merrier, right?), we’ve recently decided to add Facebook and AdRoll Pixels to our website. This’ll help us run better ad campaigns on third party websites and on our social media platforms.


If you find cookies a bit scary and you don’t want to be tracked, feel free to use built-in privacy features in your browser, or third party software. Finally, if you want to have a read of our cookie policy, here it is: https://www.gog.com/cookies.

Is there going to be something like a site-wide setting to opt out, or do we "opt out" by blocking the cookies?

You opt-out by blocking the cookies, but if you block all cookies, there's a chance that the site won't be working properly. Alternatively, you can use third party software and ad blockers.

If my browser, say, wiped all cookies created during a session, how would that impact tracking (I would of course browse the store/ be logged in)?
