Nope. Part of my physical collection. I went to check if one of my Dungeon Hack copies has German language and couldn't find the one that was most likely to have it. Unlimited Adventures, Planescape: Torment, Discworld Noir, Knights of Xentar, Monkey Island 3, Sam & Max Hit the Road, Theme Park World, Runaway and Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne are also missing. And I have no idea where they could be. I'm 100% sure I neither sold them nor gave them away.

Oh just remembered I had a game related story I've been dying to share for a few days now. I went to hook up a controller to my PC (first time EVER!) so naturally I figure I'll use the old 360 controller - it's been doing little more than gathering dust for a while now.

First issue: I spend 20 minutes trying to stop this thing from turning on my Xbox from three rooms over. I do EVERYTHING - I HAVE to be missing something, right? Mind you, this controller hasn't turned on the Xbox in ages. Eventually I learn THERE IS NO WAY TO DESYNC A CONTROLLER FROM AN XBOX.

Let me repeat - NO WAY TO DO IT. The only solution is to crawl behind and unplug the freaking Xbox LOL. How does that happen?

So anyway, I download drivers, check, good to go right? No! I spend ANOTHER like half hour trying to figure out what's going on - installing / uninstalling drivers, mucking with settings, nothing! Finally go online...

... the cord for the wireless controller carries NO digital information. It is STRICTLY a means to deliver power to charge the controller. Ah! Who designs that? I guess it saves a few bucks but wow imagine if a phone or camera USB charger DIDN'T deliver data as well.

So I guess I need a weird little dongle thing that receives the wireless controller signals? Or to track down a wired controller. Or just not FINALLY use a controller - I've made it this far ;)

Yeah, use need something else to receive the wireless signal. :l
I use a wired controller myself.

I have my beautiful hot pink Xbox controller (OFFICIAL, mind you!) and for years I've always thought the damn USB charge cord doubled as a data stream and I could just plug it in.

So I either have ditch my controller and track down a wired one, or get another piece of junk to sit on my desk area. Or not have access to a controller (like I said, I *guess* I've gone this far... but I always liked thinking I had the option :( ).

A quick little hello to All Folks Fred. I hope you're all doing well! The lady and I just spent a bit of time with Dungeons 2, which is incredibly fun. The first pc game we ever played together was Dungeon Keeper 2, and this reminds us both a lot of that, only much prettier (and quite amusing.)

In other news, I tried Killer is dead. After some initial problems with the controller not being detected. I played a bit of it.

WTF is going on? Was all I could think.
