Also, one more question. How does the teleporter work, by that I mean how do you get your men back after sending them over there? Do they just die when you destroy the enemy ship, or are they automatically returned?

After you use the teleporter, it has to recharge. Once it has recharged, use it on the enemy room where your crew members are, and they will be teleported back to your ship (it only teleports friendly crew back and forth - never the enemy.)
If the enemy ship is destroyed while you have crew members inside of it, they will be lost. If you jump to the next star without teleporting your crew back first, they will be lost.

It's not just GOG. Rental reviews are not good and the developer said on the forum that they put out an unfinished game, but felt they had no choice due to some kind of time constraint.
Not exactly the brightest move, they're going to be saddled with the image of their game being a mess whether they can manage to fix it or not.

Well the review system on GOG is definitely broken - not being able to edit a review is ridiculous

Well GOG already got a new build yesterday evening according to Judas which they'll roll out today...
Let's see what the build fixes....

It clearly prevents people from buying stuff.
Reviews complaining about bugs will still be there years later, implying it's still broken.
