FoxySage: How old? Old as dirt? :P

Makes me want to go back and play the original Settlers. Except i can't, since that isn't sold here on gog and can't install the game from the original floppy discs. :(

tinyE: We all want the original Settlers in here, even though IMO it falls short of #2.

Back to Wolf, and since it's a Free for all thread I don't feel so bad derailing :P, I went ahead and reintalled W3D only to remember it doesn't run on modern systems without DosBox and even that looks like shit. So I did some looking and found a real nice program for it which makes it very playable. Of course you do need the original game to make it work. If anyone wants the link let me know. :D
Yes please. ;)
Edit: And it's quite impossible to derail a thread with no 'rails'. :-)

LaPtiteBete: **** group hug !!! ****
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I just tried to imagine my avatar saying 'group hug', got a good laugh from that. ;)
I'd join in but don't want to spread my germs, they seem to be a bit more powerful today. :/
Now imagine it as a giraffe group hug. ;)

Here.

I couldn't find any instructions so I just extracted the whole thing into my Wolf3D folder and it worked fine.

Yeah, the sequels (up to and including the fifth game) got much better. Probably one of the few games where the original game is actual inferior to the sequel(s). I just want to play it for nostalgia's sake.

Don't sweat it. I did indeed see that typo. :P

Pretty easy to solve that gordian knot if it happens. ;)
Damn it. I missed out on the really sweet discount on the Stealth Bastard game. :(

Price has gone up from 0.69 to 1.34 euro on Humble store.

Btw do any of you guys know how good Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers is?

Also looking at Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition...

Yeah but it's not working really well with my gamepad so I'm having to play it with the keyboard.

That's how i played the game back in the old days. Keyboard works fine for that game.

That's the only way I've ever played it so I'm good. Should get out my gamepad someday though, been sitting here in the package for about two years. ;)
In case you folks didn't know, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project works well with a gamepad... :)

I rarely depend on a pad but I don't think I'd be able to play that without one.

That's one of those games I bought years ago and then bought here when I joined just for the comfort of knowing I have at least two copies. :P
Holy crap....I'm awake again....that was earlier than expected.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)
