ddickinson: I think the British get it a bit hard when it comes to that reputation. I'm not saying it's not deserved to an extent, but we are far from the worst (I've seen how some Spanish men behave while on holiday - far from lordable). :-)
But anyway, good day! How are you?
Maybe so, however whle the nebulous idea of a british gentleman is something like this. But anyway, good day! How are you?
A spanish *snicker* gentleman looks like this.
One is a dapper gentleman of wealth and taste while the other sleeps in the woods and steals from the french.
What I mean is that we're expected to be more rough around the edges. Also, the usual friendly greeting involves much questioning of each other's parentage.
And I should point out thaT when I say brit, I have to include all the irish there, since no one can nor cares enough to tell the difference. They're speaking english, that makes them english, and what's a scotsland anyways?
The worst stuff at magaluf is reportedly done by irish youths (like the public fellatio thing), but to people here they're just brits.
You mean beer.

gunsynd: if you get beat then just be a good sport about it. :-)
You know Aussie's and Poms are great rivals:-)
ddickinson: Well at least we won the Commonwealth games. :-) You know Aussie's and Poms are great rivals:-)
But the rivalry can be quite nice, just as long as people don't take it way too far, like a lot of football fans do.
Good Night All:-)

From what I was told by a guy who worked as a police officer there, the British just get more attention and blame, while it's pretty much everyone making an ass of themselves. I guess that's what you get with young people and too much alcohol.
Goodnight, Skippy!
P.S. It's football not soccer. What are you, American? :-)

It might be something to do with the "perfida albión". We just want something to lord over you. I think we're still sore over you lot still speaking your own language instead of having been conquered, and true faith restored to a land of dirty little heretics. It was the storm damn you!

BKAAAAW!
And we'd get to see more Australia vs France. I really want to see that.
And a belated hello to Agent and Moonshine. Receive the blessings of grandfather Nurgle.

A storm? What about the fire ships we sent to greet you? I think you are just sore that you were beat by a woman (Queen Elizabeth I). :-) It was the storm damn you!
But you did get the new world to colonise and spread your faith and language. So you shouldn't be too concerned about one Protestant island kingdom. :-)
Because Australia is not in Europe. :-)
Is there anything we can do to help cheer your day up? Ice cream perhaps?
