It seems really silly. The discounts do not seem that high compared to previous static sales. They will only lose money due to people not being able to gift. It makes little sense.

Yes, a very strange move. The forum usually comes alive with gifting during a sale. But oh well, as Moon said in the sales thread, I am not about to buy a game I don't want just to be able to gift it to someone else. Don't you just love this New GOG. I miss the good old GOG. :-(

Is it just me, or do the discounts seem a little low so far?
Also, 10 games just for one free one? And with the number decreasing for each free game? Wouldn't it make more sense to go for the previous system of if you spend X amount of dollars, you get such-and-such game? Considering that all of the games so far have been at least $5 and up....that means you'd be spending at least $50 before you get anything at all as a bonus.
I mean, to be fair, they're not obligated to be giving out any bonuses at all, but still. I can't really see somebody spending some $100+ on this one sale.
Personally, I think I liked the piñata promo/mystery gift promo idea better.
