Haha yeah, I get that. I can't stand waiting either. :P

The day a class makes me cry is the day I switch careers. I think you kind of lose all the respect they have for you at that point. :P I haven't actually been really angry yet either, but today I was definitely annoyed once or twice.

Hmmmm ... I have a few tabs open as well, but no GOGbears as of yet. So GOG must have something against you. :)

I thought the same thing about the last xmas sale at steam, lacklustre and with smaller discounts. They'd taken away the thrill of the next daily deal and the flash sales. It was, in one word, boring.

Worst thing about it though, is that it seemed to be contagious.

zeogold: The way I look at it, it's the most convenient promo for me the buyer since I can buy all of them as gifts. Then I just trade away what I don't want and keep what I do want, since chances are, somebody else did the same thing and got something that I want that they didn't and I have something that they want that I don't want and thus can trade this thing I don't want for what they have.

Hmph. I'll confess, you guys got me all riled up and excited for this whole insomnia thing, but...I think I might just pass on the entire sale, at this rate.
Edit: Y'know, now that I think back, I remember the Double Insomnia promo. I participated in that. Perhaps my memory is serving me incorrectly here, but weren't the discounts generally cheaper in that one?

Also, 10 games just for one free one? And with the number decreasing for each free game? Wouldn't it make more sense to go for the previous system of if you spend X amount of dollars, you get such-and-such game? Considering that all of the games so far have been at least $5 and up....that means you'd be spending at least $50 before you get anything at all as a bonus.
I mean, to be fair, they're not obligated to be giving out any bonuses at all, but still. I can't really see somebody spending some $100+ on this one sale.
Personally, I think I liked the piñata promo/mystery gift promo idea better.
I never, ever thought I'd say this... like, really. I was as sure as I am that I'm a male... but...

Yeah, I'm thinking as much. At that point, they know they can steamroll you.
