AgentBirdnest: Chaser was good! I never finished it though. It was too long :-p I felt like I had been playing forever, then discovered I was only about halfway through and took an indefinite break to avoid burning myself out. Other than that, I found it enjoyable, but a bit difficult, like you said.
Postal 2 is really something else :-) ... I remember being disgusted with it years ago, as a prudish Moomin, but I finally decided to give it a try (based on your recommendation I think, and that it was only 99¢) and not expect too much. Turns out it was a good bit of fun, if you take it for the silly game that it is meant to be.
The story on Chaser started of good, but just never really followed through. But I did like the length, even if it was not the best narrative. It reminded me of the old games that had quite a few levels to them. The ending was a little weird, and maybe it was setting up a sequel, but I liked it. It has so many settings, including space ships, Russia, Mars, and a number of others. I got it on sale and am definitely glad I payed it. It might not be a world class FPS game, but better than a lot out there. I liked Iron Storm for the setting, the whole alternative history set in the trenches stuff, but it soon left the trenches and the story got a bit meh. But overall I liked it, another good buy for me.
Postal 2 is very silly, and I like that it is up to you how violent you will be and how you play the game. The expansion was not very good, far too linear and just not that good, but the first game I thought was something different. I can understand people not liking it due to the violence, but it had more of a comedy feel to it over a real shock violence kind of game.
Stilton: -chuckle- Have you seen School for Scoundrels? I think its your kind of film....
*Polite wave back, followed by a rib-squeeze* :-)
Not a film I have heard of, maybe I will take a look at it someday.
How are you today, is the week treating you well?
*big return hug*
