AgentBirdnest: It's been kinda the opposite for me, with shooters. The ones I liked when I was young, like Wolfenstein and RoTT, I don't really like now. But the ones I only discovered recently, like Blake Stone and Blood, are new favourites :-p Not sure how to explain that one.

I'll do it... I just need to... sit around for a while first u__u
*lazy hug*
I have not played Blood yet. I have played a few FPS games that I only knew thanks to GOG (my knowledge of games is really not that good, probably as I have never had access to many what with me living in a rural area). I really liked Iron Storm and Chaser. Although both had their faults, Chaser was a little too difficult, and Iron Storm started good, in a nice setting, but soon became a little generic. But for the price they are both long games and quite fun, at least I thought so, although I know many dislike the games. Postal 2 was also quite fun, which was a little surprising as I did not think I would like it, it is not perfect, but a nice silly game.

*big motivation to destroy DRM hug* :-)

Hello, DD! *return hug*

Works better today, a lot slower overall. It's nice and relaxing.

Milkshakes? What milkshakes?...... Oh, I see. That would be handshakes. I saw zeo in here and didn't want to scare him. He really doesn't like being hugged. Silly him. Who doesn't like to be hugged by a nice lady like me?

After seeing how my prosecutor "hugs" people, I'm a bit jumpy, to say the least.

That is good to here, a nice and relaxing day sounds nice.

Oh yes, it was handshakes. I guess I had milkshakes on the brain. :-)

He doesn't like hugs from nice ladies? He sure is a very strange one. Maybe he is just waiting for a nice ma n to hug? :-)

I've never seen her hug anyone. Verbally abuse, mutilate, burn, make fun of, yes. But hug? That's new.

Well, to be fair. There has been a lot of talk about milkshakes in the last couple of days.

That's the nicest hug I've had all day, thank you :-)

I don't believe we've met before, so hi :-) I'm sure I'd recall meeting a panda-holic...

Here's a return *hug* :-)

I expect DD will leap on me in a moment and half crush me to death (she likes her hugs...)

*Politely waves at the Viking, just to prove him wrong.* :-)

*And a big hug just for fun*

And I will have you know I tend to be more reserved with who I hug in the real world, but these are virtual hugs, so I have no problem sharing them with lovely people. :-)

Chaser was good! I never finished it though. It was too long :-p I felt like I had been playing forever, then discovered I was only about halfway through and took an indefinite break to avoid burning myself out. Other than that, I found it enjoyable, but a bit difficult, like you said.
Postal 2 is really something else :-) ... I remember being disgusted with it years ago, as a prudish Moomin, but I finally decided to give it a try (based on your recommendation I think, and that it was only 99¢) and not expect too much. Turns out it was a good bit of fun, if you take it for the silly game that it is meant to be.

Now that you mention it, I don't believe we have ever talked. It's sometimes hard for me to remember who I have interacted with. I used to lurk a lot and remember a lot of people from reading. But hey, I like vikings!

-chuckle- Have you seen School for Scoundrels? I think its your kind of film....

*Polite wave back, followed by a rib-squeeze* :-)

Welcome home, darling Viking *big hug* :-)
Good morn...oon? (daylight saving has made me lose track of timezones.)

Being a Viking has been fun here - a lot of people have picked up on the idea and we've had some pretty surreal conversations. Anything with a hint of 'silly' and I'm usually ready to join in :-)

Wasn't Lurkalot one of the Knights of the Round Table?

I like pandas, too - are they just black/white or red? I'm not that well informed about our cuddly little friends...
