LynetteC: Husband is staying at home to do some DIY and lots of cooking - he's so much better at it than I am. :-) Special requests are going in for Thai green curry, macaroni cheese and these little spicy chicken rolls that he makes. Diet? What diet? lol
moonshineshadow: Send over some curry ok? :D Sounds awesome. ddickinson

high rated
Non-GOG game question:
Does anyone know anything about Broadside by Duct Tape? It's on Desura and currently on sale (33% off) on IndieGameStand. Just had its full release.
I think I'll wait for bundles/deeper discounts, but does anyone have an early idea of what to expect? Looks like it could be good.

moonshineshadow: Yep. I love books. And I spent way more on books than on games :D Just last weekend I got a new shelf since I did not have enough space anymore for more books.
I am having to limit myself buying new physical books now, which is why my partner bought me a kindle paperweight, so that I don't keep taking up more room with my books. I have a mini library in my house, a whole room full of bookcases and books everywhere. And lots of boxed fill of books up in the attic. I love to read. :-) Do you keep all the books you buy? Or do you get rid of them once you have read them? I keep mine, which is how I ended up with so many. Every so often I get rid of some, but then I just by more to read to replace them.

EndreWhiteMane: A lot of people don't care for it though I think it's usually because they've been served some pretty horrible stuff in the past.
Most people like my oatmeal once I serve it to them 'tailored' to their tastes Some still hate it though. :-)
I'm in for Mac and Cheese! Oh, this isn't a giveaway thread? Sorry. :-)
LynetteC: I forgot to mention that the mac part will be home made too - I bought him a pasta machine for Christmas. :-) Most people like my oatmeal once I serve it to them 'tailored' to their tastes Some still hate it though. :-)

Second part answer since I saw the edit too late :D
Of course I have a few which I did not really like and I am often thinking I should get rid of them but somehow I could not convince myself to really do it.

I keep all my books. But I also re-read books very often. There are even some books in danger of falling apart because I read them so often. Of course I have a few which I did not really like and I am often thinking I should get rid of them but somehow I could not convince myself to really do it.

moonshineshadow: I have to admit that a lot of my books are still at my parents place :D I just don't have enough space for them at the moment. Once I am finished with my current project I'll move to a bigger apartment and then get them all. So at the moment I am really balancing in between buying physical and ebooks.
A lot of mine are factual books, history mainly. But I have a nice selection of most topics. I enjoy reading new things and there are only a few topics I would avoid instantly, like soppy romance novels and celebrity biographies. Two genres that seem to dominate the book stores here in the UK.budejovice
