CarrionCrow: You can have fun on the other side of that coin. If possible, you could do the same thing to them, only with a look on your face of intense disapproval, capped off with sort of an exasperated sigh, like you can feel their ineptitude through the window. That'll mess with their head the entire time...>=)
Well, I doubt I'll be doing yoga. Rhino contortionist? Not likely. But overall, it should be helpful.
But I don't want to scare them off too badly either. That's bad for my image. :) Although the idea of messing with their minds is fun ...
I'll have you know yoga is suited for pretty much anybody as long as you start out easy. :P But I can imagine that not everyone is attracted to it.
ElTerprise: Me neither - and the programmes definitely got worse here - i mean all my professors are still complaining about it....
Well that wasn't the best idea - was it? :P
At least i hope the course was worth it.
Not really, but I hoped to save time by doing the course now instead of next year, so things would be a bit easier then ... The course is pretty interesting, yeah. :P
ddickinson: If you talk to many of her fans they will act like she does, and make claims she was the mastermind of fiction. She has hinted at a few sources, but I think only after being called on them. I remember reading about one author who was at a panel and they asked him why he stole a character from Harry Potter, to which he replied that he thought they both stole the character from T.H. White, which I found funny.
I know, I am only joking for the most part. Personally I can't stand them, but if others like them then great. My main problem is with the praise and admiration they have, when they are really nothing special. I like that they got many people into reading, but they are just not for me. So no offence intended, just some playful fun. Sorry if it came off more cynical than I intended, my head is a little off today due to a few things.
Damn right he was, you can't be a professor and make up over 23 fully fleshed out languages without being smart. :-)
A wand? Okay *gets a gun*. Now let's see that wand in action.
*notices Fearful start to say a spell, but before she finished I fire, killing Fearful instantly. "Well... that was a bit of an anticlimax. Why did that bad guy from the book not just do this to Potter to begin with, or just kill him when he was little, or get one of his servants to do it when he was younger? Oh well". Drags Fearful's body and hides it so no one knows.*
But I can't just leave Fearful like that. Oh, I know. *resurrects Fearful in the fashion of Mary Shelly* There you go, almost as good as new. :-)
*big silly hug*
I see. I tend to stay away from drama so I haven't really put much thought into it. :P I recently read a post-modernist novel in which the author takes an entire chapter to explain what he stole from whom. :P
Don't worry, it didn't come across as cynical. :) I just enjoy a good debate now and then. :P And I'm especially passionate about Tolkien. I respect the man for his critical genius and his skill with Old English, and even for his writing, but having seen how much he stole from other sources I have trouble calling him original.
*dies*
*gets resurrected*
Woohoo! Henceforth I shall be known as Lazarus! The one who writes horror/science fiction!
*uses wand to put up hair*

Also, I'm off to bed now since I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open. Have a good night, everyone!
