Is it a riddle and if so is it a European riddle?

ddickinson: I'm glad to hear that. Perhaps now you can finally stop torturing yourself with horrible games and just enjoy the good games, like Hatoful Boyfriend. :-)

LaPtiteBete: Count me in ! ):-|

ddickinson: Yay! Now we have our very own Joan of Arc with us. :-)
-laughs- The torture I've got coming is kinda set. I'm not spending money and not finishing it off.
But it should help in the future to prevent buying stuff with nothing good about it at all.

I was playing a game that's absolutely awful, one I stopped playing twenty years ago, and I realized why I stopped playing it way back then.

It was shit. It was shit then, and 20 frigging years later, it continues to be shit.
That's a nice story, but you're omitting the most important part; what is the game you are talking about?

With over 500 games in his backlog, it could be any number of absolutely awful games... :/

I'm talking about 7th Saga.

It's not from GOG, they wouldn't put out a game that is as utterly broken as that one.

Apparently, they made it more difficult for international audiences.

"The game is particularly known for its unforgiving difficulty due to balance changes made in its localisation; enemies were given much higher stats, and the player character's stat increases were reduced (the other playable characters retain the original stat increases, so they will always surpass you as you level)."

ddickinson: Hello Own! *big hug*

How are you today? have you had a nice weekend? Any plans for Valentines Day?

The show is called Bobs Burgers:

avatar
CarrionCrow: Is it that obvious? ;)

I don't mind flowers, I just don't like the bullshit way in which they're utilized.
Which of course goes back to not being a fan of the day itself.
As for the last part, that tactic/approach/whatever is something to avoid.
Not a big fan of pressuring anyone to do anything in general.

Additional - if you like Bob's Burgers, check out Archer if you haven't already.
Bob's voice actor is the star of that show. They even did a Bob's Burgers/Archer crossover for one episode.
Love that show, need to catch up.
When the 14th of February looms close, I always look at pictures of the valentine's day wildest party ever and they never fail to improve my mood.

I knew Bob's Burguers, I knew Kristen Schaal who also voices Mabel was in it, I clicked the link, saw the link to the Archer crossover on the youtube page, and then I saw THIS.

GLORIOUS BOTTOM OF THE BARREL BEING SCRAPPED!

CarrionCrow: Hitting them?
avatar
tinyE: Derepping them.
I give them an 'A' for effort. I spend all day here, if they want to hit all of them they are going to be here a while. XD
I think little kuriboh describe these people succintly enough.

The beauty of buying from GOG far more than anywhere else - they don't have tons of really bad games.

The only one I can think of offhand that looks to be utter garbage with nothing redeemable would be Ultima 9.

Check the part concerning Valsu and the Elixir spell. If you have to fight him at that point, he's essentially invincible due to the developers' screwups.
If they get ahold of certain items at certain points in the game, you're out of luck. Time to start over.

I've been lucky with PC games overall, in not getting too many, if any, that so bad they were unplayable.

Although I did miss out on a lot of games, whilst I was into modding and fiddling with game engines.

Took me quite a while to catch up, what with having lunch and all in the middle of it.

Why hello there DD and Owl, I'm quite fine at the moment.

By the way DD, I should warn you that the more you playfully hide your partner's identity the more sisters of battle themed rule 34 my mind gets filled with.

Which you only made worse when you got all dressed up.

And why are adeptus custodes so sexy?

I reserve my judgement on rich twits though. Mostly because my judgement would go along the lines of exterminatus.

The browser thing doesn't really need to be bad if the narrative behind it is strong enough, you might not care enough about the gameplay itself but you care about getting that piece of info to unlock the mystery of that island you just visited. And according to most, in this game it is.

Of course if the gameplay is excruciatingly tedious then that changes things, but it doesn't seem to be that bad from what I've seen and read.

This has happened even in triple A games. From what I've read, one of the most cherised parts of the Shadow Broker's DLC was apparently the personnel files on each of the characters.
