LaPtiteBete: :-D Haaaa glad to know the Cavalry is always ready to come and help....
I don't know !!! The post box loaded, but when I clicked on "post my message", nothing happened... :-|
That's not the first time it does that...

ddickinson: It's all for one and one for all on the conversation thread. If one is in trouble, the rest will rally to help. :-)

Were you trying to reply to someone when you were posting?
all for one and one for all !! :D
I tried everything. Starting with replying to someone ; that didn't work. Created a new post ? Didn't work either. Quick #€%!§$£%@?! answer ? Didn't work... !!! T__T

adaliabooks: I'm Irish Italian, so really I should be as Catholic as they come.. but maybe that's why I'm actually the least religious person you're ever likely to meet.

Pfft, armour? Armour is for wusses! When the Irish go to war you're lucky if they're wearing clothes, nevermind armour.
I'm not sure a naked Irish-Italian would be that effective these days. :-)

But in honour of your heritage, I have found the perfect outfit for you, complete with weapon.

That is strange, but I'm glad you are able to post now. Sometimes if you leave an extra square bracket, or part of a quote (for example, you go to delete a previous quote from the reply, but you forget to delete one of the tags), then this can cause the message to not send.

I'm not sure it would be either, other than for psychological damage.

That looks about right :)

I'll call in all my 'connections' too ;)

I don't think we should let Pope Hyper find out about you. I don't think the Catholics would like the whole situation. You are Irish-Italian, possibly the two most stereotypically Catholic nations on Earth. You were born in Ireland, also very Catholic, and then you move to Scotland, who are also very Catholic.
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)

Hopefully everyone's doing well today.

10 whole pages?

When I leave it's when you guys come out of lurking!

I'm going to start reading.

Against the evil demon that is Steam. :-)

It was just a bit of silliness with Pope Hyper.

It started here:

You are welcome to take part, but sadly our numbers are few. Just and Englishwoman (me), a German (toxicTom), and and Irishman (adaliabooks) so far, as the Catholic Pope decided to just stand by and see the world consumed by the evil Steam. It's only a bit of fun, of course, I'm not trying to start a whole argument about Steam.

Can't complain here.

Actually did sleep, I guess the insomnia's easing up again for the moment. =)

Not too bad overall. Generally quiet, which beats the crap out of something going horribly wrong.

It's a trick. Your mind is making you get used to more sleep so that when the GOG insomnia sale begins, you will be helpless to stay awake for all those super fast sales. :-)

Like I said to D, I can't complain too much. =)

Actually, had a bit of an epiphany last night.
I was playing a game that's absolutely awful, one I stopped playing twenty years ago, and I realized why I stopped playing it way back then.

It was shit. It was shit then, and 20 frigging years later, it continues to be shit.

There aren't enough hours in the day and too many good games to waste time on garbage without a single redeeming quality.

Phantasmagoria 2's bad, but it's interesting because it's so full of ham and cheese that it has to be seen to be believed.
Fahrenheit's bad, but it's interesting in a way to see developers take a halfway decent story and willingly mince it into rancid coleslaw.

But some things aren't worth it. Whether it's old business or not, some things are just so bad that they aren't worth your time.

Also, to D and Hyper? I have some terrible news for your running joke.

Fist Puncher isn't a bad game.

It's actually a pretty decent beat 'em up with multiple characters, unlockable moves, stat customization and a whole lot of levels.

I'm glad to hear that. Perhaps now you can finally stop torturing yourself with horrible games and just enjoy the good games, like Hatoful Boyfriend. :-)

Yay! Now we have our very own Joan of Arc with us. :-)
