EndreWhiteMane: Does kidnapping wenches for a hobby make me a heathen?
avatar
ddickinson: I'm pretty sure Christians (and everyone else) have been doing that for centuries, so not necessarily. It just makes you a very naughty boy. :-)
How about murder, mayhem, and chewing gum in line?

Never, I'm a very well behaved heathen. ;)

Grargar: No thanks. The last thing I want is a competitor to the Enhanced notifications.
So you don't like the idea of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - The Pope Edition.

What's this, our French lady is in trouble. Get the catapults ready, we invade within the hour. We will destroy those who have prevented her posting. Oh wait, you can post now, nevermind. :-)

What has been the problem? Would the post box not load, or were your posts not showing?

Nope, we can still use you. We will always need arrow fodder for when we assault the Steam citadel on Mount Doom. But you could have at least shared the chewing gum and not kept it all to yourself. :-)
Hello all :)

Good new about Hyper's friend and ddickinson's mother. I'm glad they are both doing better :)

Just been getting on with some work and I'm pretty pleased, got a party booking for April and a few strong possibilities for regular pitches, so things are looking up! With a bit of luck the financial situation will be improving soon and I'm happy with that.

I'd have to join the heathen brigade of our noble crusade. I'd like to think that somewhere in my Irish ancestry there is Viking blood but I think I'm more likely to be one of or [url=http://italophiles.com/images/soldatopop.jpg]these
Good afternoon everyone .

Hi, adaliabooks!

So one more warrior for the crusade. But should you not be a Catholic? I thought that most Irish were Catholics, with the exception of many of those from Northern Ireland. As for the Viking blood, well I'm a Yorkshire lass, home of the Viking kingdom of England, before we locals kicked them back to Scandinavia. :-)

Now you have to go find a good picture of the armour you would like to wear for the crusade. With you living in Scotland, maybe a nice skirt will suit you, oh and don't forget the purse. :-)

ddickinson: Hey! There are other motives, like defeating the evil Steam, freeing the world from DRM, and spreading the joy of DRM-Free gaming. The new outfit is just a nice bonus. Plus I really want to use that Flanged mace on home heretics. :-)

[...]
Be careful with that mace, you might turn them into cavemen, not sure if that would count as victory.

ddickinson: Hey! [...]

Which Pope was called The Watcher? Since this is GOG, how about you be called Pope Hyper I, The Witcher? :-)
It was a hint to something else, but you didn't get it (key-word: false-claim).

The smug cat objects, any idea why?

I'm sure you'd still have some of his gum if you wanted. ;-)

You look very fashionable in that last one.

And hello to all who joined us just now.

And with that, I'm out - have to run a few errands. See you later.

HypersomniacLive: What question is this? I'm the Pope! Where else would I be living? ;-D
I apologize profusely.... I didn't recognize you, Your Holiness !! :-O

All is forgiven, my child.

And now I'm really out. :-)

It's all for one and one for all on the conversation thread. If one is in trouble, the rest will rally to help. :-)

Were you trying to reply to someone when you were posting?

HypersomniacLive: Be careful with that mace, you might turn them into cavemen, not sure if that would count as victory.
Well I could always bring my cherished and lovely English war hammer (hammer, axe with a bill like edge, and a nice sharp spike on the top), I'm sure it would be more effective than a mace. :-)

avatar
HypersomniacLive: Please, don't give them ideas.
I don't think they need any help from me in that department, I'm sure they have a team thinking up such things.

avatar
HypersomniacLive: I'm sure you'd still have some of his gum if you wanted. ;-)
Well I was thinking more for the other warriors, I'm not big on gum. But I'm sure he will save some for the Pope. :-)

I'm Irish Italian, so really I should be as Catholic as they come.. but maybe that's why I'm actually the least religious person you're ever likely to meet.

Pfft, armour? Armour is for wusses! When the Irish go to war you're lucky if they're wearing clothes, nevermind armour.
