Most likely from there, though the cat has kept its origin secret so far :)
A good movie... reminds me of a song :)

Don't know the movie. I've read the book when I was in my teens and was down with really bad fever... One of the few horror novels that actually scared me, especially the cat...

AgentBirdnest:
Yes, it certainly was. Just threw away what was causing it, so that bullshit won't be happening anymore. =)

toxicTom: Well... I could certainly recommend something, but the problem is: What type of game (first person shooter preferred?) and you've played so many games already, so I don't know which you already have completed...
Go with whatever comes to mind, genre isn't a concern. (Aside from Witcher 3, since I can't run it...yet...)

superstande: Humm... Death to Spies? Have you tried that... I haven't... but I have this feeling it might be a joyful game for you.
They made some extra content for it too. Russians have made some solid stuff, that I can at least vouch for - thinking of Metro Redux...
Hmm. Haven't played it, but I own them both. Will give it a shot. =)

Empress_Owl: Ha, cr*p, I didn't see my mistake... and misread Endre's answer too... :D no wonder why customers yell at me, I'm not attentive at all.
Customers yell because they're laboring under the assumption that engaging in business transactions with people gives them the right to be assholes.

Hey there. Think I've caught up, more or less, so I'm current as well.

Well I think my opinion on Witcher 3 is already obvious enough. More comments from me on that one and I should demand money from CDPR ;-)

Ooookay:

From my library:

STALKER is really good, if you're in some first person shooting mood.
Chronicles of Riddick - One of the best fps games I've ever played, at least the original Escape from Butcher Bay.
Psychonauts - Hilarious, crazy, genius, HARD.
The Metro games are supposed to be very good, I've yet to play them.
The Blackwell games have really good characters, of you are in some adventuring mood.
The Jagged Alliance games have really good character writing, if you'd like some turn based tactical combat. Develop through the series, so play from the beginning.
Starship Titanic - It's a Douglas Adams game.
Shadow Man is moody, with strong characters.
Ether One - I'm currently playing it. Very strong writing, but requires a lot of patience and persistence. Slow game.
Toonstruck. 'nuff said.
Little Big Adventure.
The original Archimedian Dynasty (Schleichfahrt). Although I don't know about the translation. AquaNox is weaker, Revelations is supposedly again better, but I've not yet played that one.
Jade Empire is cute, although the characters are a little shallow and clichéd.
System Shock/2, Deus Ex, Anachronox...
The Longest Journey
Still Life, part 2 is also good regarding story, but the puzzles are rather... shit.
Beyond Good and Evil.
The Moment of Silence - good characters and story, weak puzzles and pixel-hunting :-/

From your library:

OMFG how many fucking games are there?!

Ok, now it's your turn to say you've played all of those above... ;-)

Don't worry about digging through my library. You'll be at it all day. (1,103 at the moment, to answer your question.)

Pretty sure I have all the games you've listed, so that won't be a problem.
Haven't played all of them, by any means. It's a good list with suggestions from multiple genres. Thank you. =)

And now I have your list and suggestions saved to my handy dandy notepad, so I won't lose it in the mix of everything. ;)

To be fair, I don't leave any of you guys alone.

Yezemin: Have a nice day! And get better soon!

Also, what boardgame? I love soloing boardgames.^^

Vnlr: or [url=http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j253/jeffr0_/SE4X02C_zpsd8f30cc4.jpg]Space Empires 4x I think :) (sorry for the late reply)
Hegemonic looks awesome! And I think one of my friends actually owns Nations, ait looks familiar. But if I'm not mistaken those are not actually games that are meant to be solod.^^ (Not that that has ever stopped me before.)

I mostly just grab a coop-game when I feel like it. They usually have a 1-player variant.
I say, my good fellow, I say, what's going on around here?

Egads, it's only wednesday and we have already a weekend promo? These things keep popping up earlier and earlier. I blame global warming.
---
I see a discussion on board games?
I'll geek it up even further by talking about BoH.
Hurm Shadows of Esteren is it? "Ars Magica meets Call of Cthulhu"?
I remain unimpressed.
